I consider myself VERY lucky that I am married to a computer tech. He’s come to my rescue more times then I can count with computer issues, from keys that pop off to horrible viruses and everything in between. My husband does a lot of work from home. I’m still amazed that he is able to “remote” into computers at work or people’s computers at home and fix them from the comfort of our own home. Technology is truly amazing!
He always jokes with me that he’s going to remote into my computer when he’s at work to see what I’m up to on the Internet. Talk about “Big Brother is watching…” Oh my! LOL!
I couldn’t imagine not having my husband to help me with my computer 24/7. I couldn’t imagine having to take my computer into a computer service center for repairs. I think I’m physically attached to my computer. Ha Ha. Not only that but who has time to drive their computer to a service center. And what do you do late at night on a Sunday night when there is no place open for you to bring your computer to get it fixed right away.
I recently learned about a web site called PlumChoice. PlumChoice is located in the U.S. (yeah!), not in foreign countries like many help desk companies are. My father works for a company who has help desk people in Mexico and Bangladesh. So it’s GREAT to find a company here in the U.S.
PlumChoice has certified IT technicians that offer consumers safe, reliable tech support over the phone or Internet 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Awesome! That is great for people who like to surf the net late night.
PlumChoice can remotely take over your PC to diagnosis and repair the problem. Just like what my husband does for his job. He does NOT work for PlumChoice. He works for an investment company.
PlumChoice makes it more convenient for consumers so there is no longer a need for you to bring your equipment to retail stores or tech shops, or to pay high pricing for a technician to come to your home. Ten years ago the company my husband used to work for charged $100/hr. for a technician to come to your home and $60/hr. for you to bring the equipment in. Now you can have your computer repaired 24/7 with no need to bring your computer in or wait for a tech to arrive.
PlumChoice can repair PC/laptop, digital camera, MP3 Player, and more.
They do offer monthly service plans as well as by the hour computer help/repair. A simple “repair” could take less then 15 minutes and cost only $25 using PlumChoice compared to other options.
For more information you can visit their site at http://www.plumbchoice.com/.
I have not used their services (that is what my dear hubby is for). I just thought I would pass the information on to my She Scribes readers in case you were interested. I did check them out with the Better Business Bureau and they are rated A+ with BBB. Click here to view the BBB page for PlumChoice.
