This week, as part of the Aquafina FlavorSplash Ambassador program, we recieved the Grape flavor water. So far this is my all time favorite flavor! I’m not much of a juice drinker so the idea of drinking grape juice doesn’t appeal to me. Give me fresh fruit over fruit juice any day.
From the very first sip of the Grape flavored AquaFina FlavorSplash I was in love! It has plenty of grape flavor but without the sugary sweetness of a fruit juice. It’s hard to believe that this is WATER! Zero calorie, good for your body, thirst quenching – WATER!
For as special low calorie treat for my kids I used the Grape flavored Aquafina FlavorSplash and filled up a set of Popsicle makers. They froze pretty quickly since it’s just water. My kids loved it! I tried one too. You couldn’t tell that it was frozen water. There was just enough Grape flavor to make the kids think they were enjoying a regular Popsicle. They didn’t miss the sugar at all.
Sadly my family finished up the Grape in ONE DAY! It took just one day for us to finish off six bottles of water. I guess you can say we all really enjoyed the flavor.
Another great Grape treat is frozen grapes. Have you ever tried that? Frozen grapes are a low calories summer time treat that my favorite enjoys. Simply wash off some grapes, remove them from their stems, place the inside a reusable container and freeze them until they are solid (I usually freeze them overnight). My kids love to suck on them. You can also use them as unique ice cubes. They can keep your drink chilled for a bit and then you can enjoy the tasty grapes when you are done.
I love that the Aquafina FlavorSplash waters do not leave a horrible after taste like some flavored beverages do.
Here are some tasty Grape recipes that you can try out on family and friends this summer.
