Stock up on Back-to-School Basics at the Children’s Place (Giveaway)

As a Mom I know how expensive going back to school clothes shopping can be. You want to be able to offer your children the most trendy “must have” fashions but at the same time you don’t want to take out a second mortgage on your home (ha ha).

Whenever I find an awesome sale I try and stock up on the basics for my kids. Most especially things like tee shirts and jeans. I try and pick up the next size up so that my kids have something to wear when they have growth spurts.

Just recently I was at a department store where the cheapest jeans for our daughter were $32. To me that is not cheap. I would like to stick to the $25 and under range. They even had jeans upwards to $60 a pair. Oh my! That is way too much money.

Currently the Children’s Place is having an awesome sale on some “must have” back to school basics including graphic tees (which are all the rage these days), backpacks and jeans.

Sadly my daughter doesn’t really fit into their clothes anymore but thankfully our son does.

I had my son check out some of the back to school fashions and outfit ideas on the Children’s Place website (www.ChildrensPlace.com) and he was really excited about these.

I love that the website offers you some outfit ideas. Sometimes its easier to envision how a “look” will work on  your child if you can see the pieces together. The Children’s Place website offers both inspiration and an option to “build an outfit”.

The Children’s Place is even having a sale on Lazer sneakers. They remind me of Keds or Converse sneakers but they are a lot less expensive. In my son’s size they are on sale for 2/$25.00. Normally we pay $25+ for just one pair of sneakers so I consider this an awesome deal.

It goes without saying that the same great deals are available for girl’s fashions too. Oh how I wish my daughter was a size or two smaller. I would love to pick her up some of these cute sets.

The Children’s Place also offers school uniform basics, right down to the socks. They even have super adorable baby clothing too.

For more information about the Children’s Place or to find a location near you visit www.ChildrensPlace.com.

I even found a 20% off coupon on their Facebook page that expires 9/1/10. Follow this link to print it out, http://www.childrensplace.com/www/b/TCP/emailj/DM-CPN-072810.html. I also see other discount codes mentioned on their Facebook page from other “fans”.
