How do you and your family spend your Sunday mornings? Do you all sit around the table enjoying a big Sunday breakfast, chatting about what the upcoming week holds? Or do you and your family tend to scatter only to reconnect later on in the day?
For me and my family we try and spend Sunday mornings enjoying a big breakfast and chatting about what we have planned during the upcoming week, what our Sunday plans are going to be, and a variety of other topics. My husband makes great French Toast. Mmm! Good! On Sunday mornings we usually go all out with the hash browns, eggs, sausages and other delicious breakfast foods. We’ll leave the cereal and the oatmeal for the rest of the week. Ha Ha.
Once in a while like like to bake up a sweet treat for our special Sunday morning breakfast. Sometimes I’ll make scones or muffins. Other times we love to enjoy sweet cinnamon rolls. YUMMY! There is nothing more “homey” and comforting then the smell of cinnamon baking in the over, especially around the holidays. I love the sweet aroma! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
In honor of Sunday morning family breakfasts Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls is teaming up with Melissa Joan Hart, star of the new ABC Family sitcom “Melissa & Joey,” for the My Sweet Sunday Moment contest, where you and your family have a chance to win a seven-day “week of Sundays” vacation to California, including a visit to area theme parks and Melissa Joan Hart’s sweet shop, SweetHarts!
Have you seen her new show yet? I have seen a couple of episodes. Its cute. I sure wish Joe Lawrence would grow his hair back. LOL!

On Sundays we have a fun breakfast with Cinnamon rolls or french toast. I don’t think we will be entering the national contest, we would have no chance of winning.

Easter Sunday is our best tradition! We have cinnamon rolls, bacon and boiled eggs!
On Sundays we get to sleep in, make a big breakfast, and go grocery shopping together. I won’t be entering the Melissa & Joey contest because I know I wouldn’t be able to get off for the vacation.

have cinnamon rolls and cereal
We have our sunday mornings with cinnamon rolls we cant get enough of them. they are delicious!
Our family traditions on Sunday included dad making breakfast. Traditional eggs, bacon and potatoes — each week he would let me and my sisters shake this bag that he puts the potatoes in to season them… it was so much fun
Our Sundays used to be hectic but we try to make a priority now to have family time. We do sleep in, my husband brings in the paper and makes coffee early…we all read the ads and paper and then eat and plan the day. We may go to church, go fishing or tubing and then later cookout and play games, cards, or watch movies. We actually DO love to make Pilsbury rolls! My husband especially is a SWEET Sunday breakfast man…well, on every OTHER day too, so he especially loves these because HE can make them!
I actually did enter this contest YESTERDAY! It was fun to write about family!
