The Anniversary Rose Gifts ($50 Giveaway)

Do you want to hear something silly? My husband and I celebrate THREE anniversaries each year. We celebrate February 2nd (our first date – Groundhogs Day), October 18th (our first marriage) and October 26th (or second marriage). Yes, we were married twice, one year apart (and almost to the day). We eloped on October 18th. That is our legal date of marriage. When we went to have our daughter christened the Catholic church (my hubby is Catholic) refused to christen her because as far as they were concerned we were not truly married because we were not married in a church. So we re-married in the church and immediately after we said our “I do’s” for the second time our daughter was christened. My husband’s cousin in a priest so that worked out great for us (he performed the dual service).

Now we have three anniversaries to celebrate. We don’t really do much for the October 26th anniversary other then wish each other a “Happy Anniversary”. We usually celebrate the other too, most especially the legal date of our marriage (October 18th).

Finding an anniversary gift for man is next to impossible! Finding an anniversary gift for a woman is A LOT easier if you ask me. There are a lot of wonderful gift options for women, but for men it seems like there isn’t much out there.

There is a website called  Anniversary Rose Gifts that makes finding that special gift for the man in your life A LOT easier. Even better the website is done up in different categories depending on the anniversary you are celebrating, from a first year anniversary to a 60th year anniversary. There you will find more traditional gifts for men.

The site is also set up in different categories so you can find something more specific to what you are looking for whether it be something for the outdoors or a treasured keepsake.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary on October 18th. The Anniversary Rose website says that a traditional gift for this anniversary would be something in Ivory. A modern gift would be a piece of gold jewelry. There are links to suggestions that match these gift ideas as well as other suggestions such as a romantic gift such as a poem and unique gift like a personalized item. Below these suggestions you will also find gifts that would be ideal for this anniversary.

One suggestion that really stood out to me was the Wooden Photo Frame with the engraved poem. I love that its “manly” (wooden) and sentimental and romantic (poem) at the same time. My husband loves looking through our photo albums, especially when our teen and pre-teen start copping their attitudes with us. My hubby likes to look at their baby and toddler pictures and try and remember when they were sweet and cuddly. Ha Ha.

I also love the 14th anniversary poem in the Beveled Glass Frame. I think this would look lovely on his desk. I’m going to hold off purchasing this however since my husband just started his new job this week and currently doesn’t have a desk since he’s moving around the various campus locations. When I know he finally has a desk to call his own then I’ll consider something beautiful like this.

One of my most gifts from the Anniversary Rose Gifts shop is the Sitting in a Tree Wall Canvas Art Print. How sweet is this! This is not only a wonderful gift for your significant other but its also a great gift for an anniversary couple or even a couple who are nearly engaged or married.

I love how realistic it looks. It looks like someone cut out a piece of a tree bark and hung it on the wall.

I loved this print so much that I got one to give to my husband for our anniversary. He hasn’t seen it yet. I am hiding it away in the closet until next month. I already know where we can hang it too.

This is an actual picture of it. I temporarily put it up on my wall but the picture came our too dark (my light green wall looks olive green in the photo) so I just cropped out the background.

For the record I have no problem posting about my husband’s anniversary gift because he doesn’t read my blog unless there is a specific post I want him to look at (sometimes I need another set of “eyes” for editing). Just like I don’t read his blog unless he wants me to. Its NOT that we don’t care. Its just that he knows what I write about and he writes about football which I have no interest in.

The Anniversary Rose Gifts shop doesn’t just cater to gifts for men. They also have lovely gifts for women as well as couples.

I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE these WOODEN roses! They look so real! These would look wonderful as a centerpiece on the dining room table.

These roses are $53 on the site but if you think about the cost of real roses that would die in about a week it is a better option. At least these roses will remind you of your special day year after year.

I also adore the name meaning keepsake. This would look nice on my desk.

The Anniversary Rose Gifts shop even has gifts for boyfriends and girlfriends. Its not often you find gifts SPECIFICALLY for a boyfriend and/or girlfriend. This #1 Boyfriend keepsake it adorable.
