Totino’s & Box Tops for Education Giveaway!

Does your school collect Box Tops for Education? Our elementary school has been doing it for many years now, long before both of my children were even in school.

When my children were younger they used to fight over who got to bring in the Box Tops for Education. To rectify the situation I would tack two sandwich bags to our cork board and each time I would clip off a Box Top I would alternate which bag to put it in. That way when it came time to submit them into the school both of my children could bring in an equal amount.

Our elementary school does a great job at collecting the Box Tops. Last year they raised over $2,100+ with the Box Tops for Education program. Sadly our Middle School only collected $317 worth of Box Tops and the Junior High was even worst. They collected NONE! That is such a shame that they don’t take care of such a great program. Its like “free money” for the schools.

So why collect Box Tops for Education in the first place? That is easy to explain. Each one of those Box Tops that you find on many products you use every day are worth MONEY for schools. The more they collect the more money the school raises. The money they raise can be used to purchase much need supplies, equipment and many other necessities.

With so many schools dealing with massive budget cuts (our school district include) programs like Box Tops for Education are more important then ever. Best of all its FREE for you to participate in. All you need to do is cut off and save the Box Tops from the many participating products, most of which you probably use on a regular basis. Then have your child bring them into school and the school will collect them and submit them. If you do not have a child in school you can still help out. Just phone your local school and ask them if they collect. If they do you can drop them off or mail them. I’m sure they will greatly appreciate all the help they can get.

Have you tried the Totino’s Party Pizzas yet? My kids LOVE them. They are perfectly sized for either a snack or even a lunch. Personally I split one between my kids because I don’t want them to fill up before dinner. Even one half of a Party Pizza is enough to satisfy them before dinner time. Now that my husband doesn’t get home until around 6 PM we are eating later then we used to. My son has an early lunch this year too so he’s starving by the time he gets home. The Party Pizzas are just enough to fill his tummy without making him too full for dinner.

My kids also LOVE Totino’s Pizza Rolls. So do I! I have to be careful when I make them for the kids because I want to gobble them all up myself. My kids love the combo flavor (cheese, pepperoni and sausage). I’m not picky. I love them all. LOL!
