Its coming down to the wire now. We have just DAYS to finish up our holiday shopping. I’m almost done except for my nephew. I also have to go to the post office later to mail out cards I have yet to mail out as well as some holiday gifts for friends across the miles. Nothing like waiting for the last minute.
If you are still looking for great stocking stuffers I’d like to recommend Soft Lips. They have holiday flavors that would be PERFECT for any stocking, both young and old.
This Winter Soft Lips has introduced some flavors that are not only great for the holiday but also all Winter long. The flavors include:
- Sugar and Spice
- Sugar Plum Berry
- Winter Mint
- Sugar Cookie
- Mint with a hint of Vanilla
Oh! This are NICE! Flavors like this drive my son nuts because he wants to be able to enjoy them too but these are mostly geared towards girls, teens and women.
I had to fight my daughter for these. As soon as she saw the package of Soft Lips that I received she went crazy for them. She wanted them all. NO WAY! I like Soft Lips too.
What I like about Soft Lips is how well the balm applies to your lips. It makes you lips feel moist and wet. Other lip balms leave your lips feeling waxy or sticky. I don’t like lip balms like that.
Have you ever had globs of lip balm (especially the waxy kind) get caught in the corners of your lips? I hate it when that happens. Its embarrassing!
Soft Lips goes on smooth and stays smooth. It doesn’t clump up on your lips or in the corner of your mouth. Its not sticky either.
Soft Lips also has SPF 20. Many people might think its odd to worry about SPF during the Winter months but you are exposed to sun in the Winter time just as you are in the summer months. You should wear sun protection both on your lips and your skin year round.
Soft Lips are small and thin making them easy to carry around in your purse, jeans pocket or coat pocket. Personally I like to keep one in the car too just in case I forget one at home.
I love the new flavors, well at least the ones I was able to try. The Sugar and Spice Soft Lip is one of my favorites. Its sweet but not overly sweet tasting. Its hard to describe. It just has a nice taste to it. Even thought Sugar and Spice suggests the holidays I think this flavor is great year round.
Sugar Plum Berry is really nice too. It does have a sweet fruity taste to it. Certainly not strawberry or cherry. I tend to lean more towards a hint of grape or raspberry. Maybe plum. Its hard to say.
Winter Mint is nice too. Its not overly minty. Its not subtle but its not over powering either. Its a nice balance of mint (not too weak/not too strong).
My daughter has the Sugar Cookie. I haven’t tasted it but I have smellled it. It smells yummy! It does have a cookie smell to it. I reminds me of the Sugar Cookie candle that I have.
My daughter also have the Mint with a touch of hint of Vanilla. I have not tasted this one either but I have smelled it. Its not as minty smelling as the Winter Mint Soft Lips. I don’t smell Vanilla either. Its more of a more subtle mint scent. I asked my daughter if she tasted Vanilla but she said she wasn’t sure.
Knowing how excited my daughter was when she saw the packages of Soft Lips on my desk tells me that other ‘tween or teen girls would be thrilled to find the new Soft Lips Winter flavors in their holiday stocking. Even young girls can appreciate these too. They are not tinted so you don’t have to worry about your child’s lips being red or pink. The Soft Lips Winter collection are all clear.
You can find Soft Lips at many retail locations. You can also visit SoftLips.com to learn more about the Winter collection and other Soft Lips products. You can also purchase them online too. If you are looking for specific flavors (they have A LOT of them) I would recommend shopping online rather then drive around to various retailers.
You can also follow Soft Lips on Facebook, www.Facebook.com/SoftLips and on Twitter, www.Twitter.com/ILoveSoftLips.
Soft Lips… a practical holiday gift idea and last minute stocking stuff.
