Stuff Your Stockings with Hershey’s (Stuff Stocking Giveaway!)

When I was a young girl Santa (Mom) used to stuff my stocking filled with goodies every Christmas morning. Sometimes I think the stocking was more fun to “unwrap” then the presents.

My Mom always stuffed my stocking with a variety of goodies. Every Christmas I always received a nice, shiny, nearly perfect apple, an orange, small “gifts” (crayons, small activity book, mini-toys) and of course CANDY!

My stocking always included my favorites like chocolate bars, chocolate balls, candy canes, Lifesavers and more.

As a Mom myself I try and fill my children’s stockings with a lot of fun goodies too. Usually I get them a small plush, candies, stickers and of course chocolate. A stocking is not complete without a few chocolate treats.

This year we purchased new stockings for the kids and we let them decorate their own stockings with gold glitter paint. My son is already done with his. Now we’re waiting on our daughter. She’s an artist so she has to wait until she is inspired by a design before she starts on it. LOL! Just be a kid and decorate it already! Ha Ha.

My husband and I are going to go shopping this week to find goodies for their stockings. We already have some ideas. We’re certainly going to pick up plenty of Hershey’s candies.

Hershey’s has many Christmas theme chocolates available during the holiday season. Even their “classics” have bee dressed up in holiday designs making them perfect addition to any child’s stocking. Some Hershey’s chocolates are great to have our for holiday guests too. A bowl of Hershey’s kisses set out on a table is a great way to welcome holiday guests into your home. You can even decorate your tree with chocolate mint candy canes from Hershey’s. We have (had?) some on our tree about a week ago. I’m not sure if the kids ate them all up yet.

Some Hershey’s products you might want to consider include Rollo’s inside plastic tubes topped with a holiday figure, Christmas Tree shaped Reece’s Peanut Butter cups and Hershey’s Kisses dressed in holiday inspired “outfits”.

My kids will say that the Reece’s do not look like trees. LOL! I don’t care if they were shaped like a shoe or just a blob, they are still one of my most favorite candies.

I love the Rollos in the tube. The kids have fun with them too. After the candy is gone you still have a cute little plastic topper to play with. I am trying to think of a craft I can use our Reindeer topper for.

Of course Kisses are always perfect to have on hand. They are great when you just want a little bite of chocolate. They are also fun to toss into your child’s lunch box as a sweet surprise.

Hershey’s products can be found just about anywhere from your local grocery store and drug store to even larger department type stores like Walmart and Target. If you happen to be in the mid-town Manhattan area you can find GIGANTIC Hershey’s products at FAO Schwartz. The Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups weight TWO POUNDS!

This holiday season while you are looking for the perfect addition to your child’s stocking, or looking for some sweet treats to set out in your home for family and friends, check out the many different assortments available from Hershey’s.

Hershey’s has a special holiday website set up that offers fans of Hershey’s products fun recipe and craft ideas for the holidays using their products. When you have a chance check out www.CelebrateWithHersheys.com.

I love visiting their holiday theme websites (they have ones for Easter, Halloween, Valentines and more!). I get such a kick out of the fun craft ideas.

For Christmas Hershey’s shows you how you can make a wreath out of Hershey’s Kisses to welcome everyone to your home, ornaments for your tree, table top decorations and more. They even have some really cute Hanukkah craft ideas too!

If you are looking for mouth watering recipes check out the recipe section on the site too!  Mmmmm!!!!

These treats and crafts would make for special family “together” time too.
