Freschetta is Proud to Support Pink (Giveaway)

To show their support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Freschetta has created a special campaign called Proud to Support Pink.

From September 25, 2011 – October 31, 2011, Freschetta is offering specially marked packages of Freschetta pizzas (both regular and artisan). Each product will have a special code on it. Visit www.ProudtoSupportPink.com and enter in the code from your Freschetta package. For each code that is entered Freschetta will donate $1.00 Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, up to a $50,000 donation.

If you are a Breast Cancer survivor, or know someone who is, you can also visit the Freschetta website (www.Freschetta.com) to share your cancer journey. The stories will be displayed on the Proud to Support Pink website as well as on Freschetta’s Facebook page in hopes to provide inspiration for others.

Freschetta is also giving away 50 iPod Shuffles each week and an additional 50 pink iPod Shuffles will be donated to cancer centers around the country so patients can enjoy music, audio books or another kind of entertainment while receiving treatment.

I think this is a wonderful thing that Freschetta is doing, not to mention I love their pizza, most especially their Naturally Rising Signature Pepperoni.The sauce has a nice “kick” to it.

I WISH I had a photo to share with you of the earbuds. I had given a pair to a friend of mine. My daughter had the other pair but sadly our kitten got ahold of it and chewed it apart. I can tell you that they come in a really nice box and are a lovely light pink color.

Because this campaigns ends on the 31st I am going to do a quick giveaway. I should have had it posted sooner but the situation with my dad being in the hospital and now in a nursing home threw me off track.

This giveaway is open to US residents only and will end on October 29, 2011 at 11:59 PM (EST). The winner will be chosen at random using a random number generator from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified via e-mail and will have three days to reply with a name and mailing address (no PO Box). Failure to reply will result in a new winner will be chosen in their place.
