Nickelodeon Favorites: Merry Christmas!

Yes, you read that right – MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I know, it’s way too early to think about Christmas. Sadly our local grocery store already has Christmas products and decorations available. They have been on display since the beginning of October.

I love the holiday season. Not only do I totally get into the decorations and festivities but I’m also really into holiday entertainment including music, TV and movies. I’m always on the look out for new holiday entertainment to add to our ever growing collection. We have an entire cabinet that only houses holiday DVDs and Blu-rays.

The newest addition to our holiday collection is Nickelodeon Favorites: Merry Christmas! This super adorable DVD collection features holiday episodes from Dora the Explorer, Blue’s Clues, Go Diego Go, Team Umizoomi, Wonder Pets and Ni Hao, Kai-lan.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!

My kids are older and grew up before Ni Hao, Kai-lan and Wonder Pets made their way to the TV screen. I have also never seen Team Umizoomi before (although I have heard of the show). My kids loved Blue Clues, Dora and Go, Diego, Go which came on the scene when my son was younger.

You do not need to be a fan of any of these shows to appreciate this DVD. I’m an adult and I really enjoyed them. They are great for the whole family. Even my husband liked the DVD and thought they were cute episodes.

This DVD features the following holiday episodes.

Dora the ExplorerA Present for Santa – Dora and her side kick Boots want to give a special present to Santa and they need your help to find their way to him home in the North Pole.

Blue’s CluesBlue’s First Holiday – This episode goes back in time to Blue’s very first Christmas. You’ll get a look at little Steve and baby Joe and learn how all the Blue’s Clues characters first met. This is a super cute episode!

Wonder PetsSave the Reindeer – Santa’ looses one of his baby reindeer and it’s up to the Wonder Pets to help find him. I have only seen bits and pieces of Wonder Pets episodes but I think they are darling and this holiday episode is no exception.

Ni Hao, Kai-lanThe Snowiest Ride – Kai-lan’s friend Tolee wants to have fun like his friends sledding but he’s terrified to do it. With Kai-lan’s help Tolee learns to over come his fear and learns to sled.

Team UmizoomiSanta’s Little Fixers – Santa needs help – STAT! His toy making machine is broken and he needs it fixed right away. Team Umizoomi comes to the rescue. I have never seen this show before. The characters are adorable. If my kids were younger I’m sure they would watch them all the time.

Go, Diego, GoDiego Saves Christmas – On Christmas Eve Santa finds himself in a horrible predicament. His sled is stuck on top of a snowy mountain. In order to deliver the gifts to boys and girls he needs Diego’s help in order to save Christmas.

There is even a bonus feature of a music video called Snow Day by a band name Fresh Beat Band.

I enjoyed all the episodes. If I had to pick my favorite I would say Blue’s Clues. The Wonder Pets and Team Umizoomi episodes were super cute too. The whole DVD it delightful.

Whether your are 6 or 60, I think everyone would enjoy this DVD collection. You don’t have to be in elementary school to appreciate this adorable holiday tales.

This DVD is the perfect addition to any family’s holiday DVD collection.

Look for Nickelodeon’s Favorites: Merry Christmas! where ever DVDs are sold.
