Celebrate the Season with HP & Inkology (Giveaway)

Did you make your list? Did you check it twice? Oops! Yes, you did. And you forgot something. You forgot to pick up gift tags. How in the world will people know which gift is their’s without a tag? No worries. Simply head on over to HP’s Inkology to print out as many gift tags as you need. While you are there why not print out a few holiday recipes to share with family and friends.

The above is just a scenario that some readers might experience. Personally it never fails. I always forget something. Thank goodness for computers and printers.

Years ago I used to send out Christmas cards to everyone. Even if I haven’t spoken or seen someone for years I sent them a card. Writing out the addresses was bad enough, but having also write out the return address was time consuming too. This might explain why I have carpal tunnel. Anyway… thank goodness for return address labels.

I used to like printing out my own address labels. Years ago I had my own business. I used to print out address labels for both my business and personal use. It was nice to be able to print out what I needed, when I needed it. Who has time to wait for mail order address labels to arrive.

This season HP has created a fun widget to help you take care of last minute details. They also have some fun holiday coloring pages you can print out for your children or grandchildren to keep them occupied on long car trips or for when you are snowed it.

Here is the Inkology widget.

I am sorry that part of the widget is cut off (it won’t fit entirely on my site). You can still use it or scroll down to the bottom of the post to find the URL you can visit too.

The widget will give you the ability to  download, customize, and quickly print some fun holiday items – for FREE!

I adore the coloring pages especially the Mickey & Minnie one from Disney Junior and the Happy New Year coloring page from Nick Jr. If you are fans of Shrek be sure to check out all the fun Shrek coloring pages too.

If you are looking for a quick, easy and inexpensive gift idea you can print out recipe cards featuring recipes found on Epicurus including Miso Soup with Sweet Potato Dumplings (YUMMY!), Hearty Chicken and Rice Soup and Pork Tenderloin with Pomegranate Sauce (I can’t wait to try this one!). Simply print out the card and either laminate them or adhere them to index cards. You could attach them to a key chain ring but punching a hole in the corner. Or better yet purchase an inexpensive recipe box and put the recipe cards inside that. Include them in a basket with some of the ingredients to make one of the recipes you printed out. This would make a wonderful gift, especially for newlyweds, someone who is just starting off on their own, or someone who simply enjoys trying new recipes. Best of all this gift idea is very inexpensive.

Also available to print out for free are address lables and return address labels. They would work with any label printer paper. Or you can print them, cut them out and adhere them to your packages.

As a blogger I am always on the look out for ways to promote my blog. Inkology allows me to print out great FREE marketing tools, including the cool QR Codes that can be made into stickers and placed on various marketing materials. Of course I don’t have a smart phone to see what happens when you scan the code, but hopefully they take people to my site or at least provides people with site information. Oh Santa! I need a Smartphone! :-)

Check out some other awesome things you can make to promote you blog, business or website. You can print out large Facebook and Twitter pages and insert your Facebook and/or Twitter names. Then hang them from your window or car (safely of course!) or any place else you can think of.

I also love that you can print out editorial calendars. One of my “goals” for 2012 is NOT to get off track anymore. I want to be more organized so I don’t have to stress out when it comes to getting posts and campaigns completed on time.

If you print these pages out and have them laminated you can use a dry erase marker on them and simply erase the marker with a paper towel or cloth and start all over again.

HP sent me a selection of fun products that I can print out for FREE on the HP Inkology page. I’m having so much fun with them and I plan on printing out more materials when I am finished with the ones I have.
