With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, unexpected guests, out of town guests, last minute shopping, all day baking… who has time to clean? Another way to look at it who has the ENERGY to clean? Ha Ha.
I work from home. Many people ASSUME that I have all day to clean. There are some days that I do but other times I’m on the go or busy from dusk to dawn. The best I can do is give our home a quick “once over”. Thank goodness for antibacterial cleaning wipes, Swiffer 360 Dusters and Swiffer wet/dry cloths. They are staple in my home. They help me to keep my home looking clean in between the times I am able to give our home a deeper clean.
We have five cats and a dog. Needless to say we have a lot of pet dander. We also have direct sunlight at all times the way our windows are situated and our unit overlooks the parking lot. Between the dander, sunlight and dirt from the parking lot we have a serious dust problem If I don’t keep on top of it our place would be a mess.
I love the Swiffer 360 dusters. I have been using them for a long time. They help me to quickly and easily dust my home. Instead of using a dust rag, which seems to just push the dust around, the Swiffer 360 Duster helps to “grab” the dust, making the time spent cleaning much more efficient and productive.
The extended handle is a “must have” too. I use the Swiffer 360 Dusters on an extended handle to help dust the walls, ceiling fans, picture frames on the wall and the ceiling lights. I’m “vertically challenged” so I need the extra help. 
I love how the Swiffer 360 Dusters get into the nooks and crannies too. I can use them to get into even the smallest spot to pull out the dust and dander.
Dusting with the Swiffer 360 Dusters also cuts my dusting time down to a minimum. I can dust my living room with one of the dusters in a matter of minutes, which is great because I’m the kind of person who cleans before repair people show up. LOL! Seriously, the two times the plumber had to come to fix the toilet I cleaned the bathroom both times before they showed up. I bet if I had a cleaning lady I’d probably clean before she showed up.
The new Swiffer 360° Dusters also have a better dust retention. They hold on to more dust than a regular dry dusting cloth. The Dust Lock Adhesive technology helps to trap and lock up to three times more dust than a dry cloth.
Swiffer also has a wet and try cloth “mop”. I use both the wet and dry cloths. I use the dry ones for a quick cleaning to help pick up pet hair, kitty litter and crumbs (my kids get crumbs all over the kitchen and dining room). The new Swiffer dry cloths leave your floors up to three times cleaner than a broom on dirt, dust and hair too. I rarely use my broom. I always feel like I’m moving dust and dirt from one place to another and it’s not really helping me clean.
I use the wet cloths to clean the floors. In fact I don’t mop my floors. I only use the Swiffer wet cloths. I use them in the kitchen, dining room, hallway and bathroom. Who has time to use a traditional mop? Not me! With the Swiffer wet and dry cloths I can clean the floors in minutes. The wet cloths also dry quickly so I don’t have to wait around for the floors to dry.
Swiffer does have a WetJet Mop and Solution that helps to reveals more shine than a mop on glossy ceramic tile, hardwood and laminate floors. I haven’t tried the WetJet Mop or Solution, but I’d like to some day.
I’m “miffed” because I took pictures of my home nice and squeaky clean, and now I can’t find the photos. UGH! I had pictures of my nice and clean kitchen, bathroom, living rooom and dining room. Not the kid’s room because it’s beyond help (ha ha). My place is decorated for the holiday. I really wanted to show off my decorations too. Phooey! I would take pictures now but right now my place is a mess. My home was really “HD Ready” when I took the photos.
