ALDI Fit & Active Line

If you shop at ALDI I thought you might want to know about their Fit & Active product line, especially if one of your New Year’s resolutions are to lose weight and eat right.

All of the Fit & Active products are clearly labeled so you know exactly what you are getting with each serving. It’s known as Fit Facts. Fit Facts were created to help shoppers quickly find important information by conveniently displaying the following nutritional facts in each serving of Fit & Active products – calories, fat, sodium and sugar. Fit Facts also show you the percentage of your daily allowance each serving consists of.

Take for example the Fit & Active Low Fat Granola Cereal with Raisins. With each 2/3 cup serving you are getting…

With the Fit Facts you know that one serving will consist of 16% of your daily recommended Fiber and 5% of your total daily fat intake. Knowing these facts are important if you want to eat right and maintain a healthy diet.

I like that the key nutrition information is clearly marked and easy to read. It helps consumers to identify which products best suit their nutritional and dietary needs. You still should read labels but having they key facts clearly marked on the packages makes it a lot easier.

ALDI takes pride in offering you and your family the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices. They created their exclusive line of Fit & Active products for active lifestyles.

Currently they have about 50 Fit & Active products, many of which has more than one variety. All of them are at ALDI’s low prices.

I had the opportunity to try out a few Fit & Active products. They were all pretty good and to be honest they didn’t come across as “diet” foods.

I have been on every diet under the sun over the years and I know from personal experience that “diet” foods can be costly. I was really surprised at just how affordable the Fit & Active products are at ALDI. Say for example their string cheese. Normally I have to pay around $4.00+ for a 12 pack of string cheese. At ALDI the 12 pack of Fit & Active string cheese is only $2.99. I know that is not a “huge” savings up front but when you buy a package every week that is an over all savings of $52 a year.

We don’t have an ALDI where I live. I have to go upstate to visit one. I wish we had one local to us.
