French Toast Clothing Review & Giveaway (Ends 2/28/12)

My kids attend public school. I’m not knocking their education because our school district is actually very good. The kids always perform well on state exams. My concern is the way kids dress these days.

Sometimes I wish the school would required school uniforms . It’s not that I want to “torture” my kids by having them wear uniforms. Its just that some of the clothing the kids in school wear is totally inappropriate. How parents can let kids walk out the door dressed the way they are shocks me. I see girls going to school wearing next to nothing (no exaggeration) and the school does nothing about it.

If I see one more boy walking around with his pants down to his knees I’m going to tackle him and staple his pants where they are suppose to be. :-)

I don’t uniforms are a bad idea. It would save on $$$ and the kids wouldn’t be worried about whose wearing what and who wears what better. I’m sure you know what I mean. I was also a teen once and I can appreciate individuality too.

Does your child have to wear school uniforms? If so you have probably heard of French Toast before. It’s one of the best “go-to” resources for kids school uniforms.

We have a few pieces from French toast from the Boys school uniforms section. My daughter won’t wear anything that doesn’t have a designer label on it where as my son doesn’t care about designers. All he cares about is how comfortable and easy something is to wear and that it look OK on him.

My son has a few pieces from French Toast including two tops, a really nice “wind breaker” type light weight jacket and a really nice sweater.

My husband wears shirts with a collar and a few buttons by the neck. He wears shirts like that with Docker style pants. My son always wants to dress like my husband. He’s not interested in wearing his jeans around his butt or designer labels.

I love that French Toast has some really nice dressy shirts similar to what my husband wears. My son has two of them from French Toast. One in red and one in Burgundy.

I’m sorry about the bad pictures. It’s not easy to get a 12 1/2 year old boy to cooperate with you and get his picture taken. He also didn’t want his face to be seen because at the time he had some pimples on his face. :-)

What I love about these polo shirts is that French Toast has them in both short sleeve and long sleeve and in A LOT of colors. Plus they are very affordable too, ranging in price from $7.98 – $13.98.

Another really nice piece that we have from French Toast is the Zipper Front Sweater. It’s SUPPOSE to look like this,

But my son wore it zipped all the way up to his neck and it didn’t look right (I suspect it’s because he was not in the mood to play “fashion model”).

It’s perfect for a chilly day and dressy enough to wear to church, out to dinner or another fancy function. It’s also OK to wear to school – of course – since this is one of the many school uniform pieces available from French Toast.

My son loves to wear the windbreaker jacket. My son wants to wear it NOW but the weather is still a bit chilly for a lightweight jacket. Spring will be here soon enough and the jacket will be ideal.

His jacket has a hood. I don’t see it on the site at the moment. Perhaps it’s sold out?

The jacket is lined with a really soft material. I’m not sure but the jacket might also be waterproof. That is the impression I get from the outer fabric.

Right now French Toast has A LOT of great items on sale and on clearance including Oxford dress shoes for $11.99 and fleece pants for as low as $3.00.

That is the one thing that I really like about French Toast – their affordable prices. The quality of clothing is exceptional too, especially at these budget friendly prices.

If I am lucky enough to win, this would be for my son. He attends public school, but must wear “standard school attire” which is solid colored polo shirts & khaki or navy blue pants. I love that he must dress this way for school. Everyone looks very neat! Thanks for the chance of winning such a great prize!

My toddler will be going to public school this upcoming year and she will def. need new uniforms. I was just looking for prices on them so I’d know how much they are before the start of school.
