Some people are fanatical when it comes to their favorite sports team. When my daughter was a toddler she could name most of the key players on the Dallas Cowboys. She also wore a lot of Cowboys clothing, which was later passed on to my son. In fact we have two huge bins of Cowboys clothing from the kids.
My husband is a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan. In fact our son’s name was Dallas up until the very moment he was born, then we changed it. However one of his middle names is Dallas.
There is plenty of Dallas Cowboys memorabilia all over my home. I could only imagine what a “man cave” would look like if my husband had one.
Some people, like my husband, are die hard fans and love anything and everything that has to do with their favorite team. Some people even go so far as to buy team related gear for their pets (I have seen Cowboys things for dogs).
PrideBites is one way you can show off your team spirit. They are a line of dog toys made out of team logos. Currently they only offer collegiate teams but I’m sure more will be added over time.
Are you a Baylor Bears fan? If so why not give your pup a Baylor Bear PrideBite.
Maybe you are a Mississippi State fan or crazy about the USC Trojans?
PrideBites are soft dog toys, that are very well made I might add, that feature an internal “squeaker” which dogs love. My dog loves anything and everything that squeaks. It drives us nuts sometimes because he will squeak on his toys non-stop for the longest time.
PrideBites don’t only come in collegiate designs. They are also available in other fun shapes too. Our dog Espn (pronounced Es-pin) has two PrideBite toys – Quackers the Duck and Goldie the Fish. Here he is playing with Goldie.
This is Espn in his pre-groomed state. He’s since been to the groomer and shaved down.
What I really like about these toys is that they are washable. I worry about washing dog toys sometimes because you know if they will fall apart or get ruined. We’ve tossed Goldie in the wash (he tends to play with her more so than Quackers). Goldie has made one trip in the wash and she came out perfectly. She even dried fairly quickly too. I didn’t want to put her it in the dryer because I was afraid the heat might melt the squeak. So I let it air dry. It seemed to dry quickly enough.
I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet but PrideBites also float. If you are fortunate enough to have a pool you let your dog swim in, or if you take him to the beach or the lake, you can take along a PrideBite or two to entertain your four-legged friend.
Espn tends to be rough with his toys. He’s been known to actually rip toys to shreds the same day he gets them. So far, so good with PrideBites. They are both in one piece and in great condition.
PrideBites might be a little more pricey then some other pet toys, but you are paying for a quality product meant to last a long, long time. The other day I was in the pet store to get Espn groomed and was shocked to see pet toy prices $15 and more. WOW!

Love that your dog is named Espn! But are you supposed to get your team or your rival?! Too bad they are high quality!
That’s a neat idea to have a team inspired toy for your pet, pretty cool. If they have it I’d have to get the 49ers
