Red Carpet Online Viewing Party with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! (Giveaway – Ends 2/21/12)

I seriously cannot believe that it’s awards season again. It seems like yesterday Colin Firth won Best Actor for The King’s Speech and Natalie Portman won for her eerie portrayal of a tortured ballerina in the Black Swan. Now ANOTHER awards show is upon us. Times flies way too quickly!

I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! has announced that they are hosting an online Ultimate Red Carpet Viewing Party on Sunday, February 26th on Facebook from 3:00-4:30 PST (6:00 – 7:30 EST). The show is going to include a round table discussion with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars and a food & wine expert who is well known for her delicious recipes.

You can also follow the conversation all week long leading up to the Academy Awards on Twitter using the hashtag #ToastRedCarpet.  

Are you having an Oscar party with your family and friends? If so be sure to check out the yummy recipes on the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! website, www.ICantBelieveItsNotButter.com. One of my favorite is the Pear and Parmesan Stuffed Mushrooms. These elegant appetizers would be perfect for an Oscar Party.

 It’s fun to host (or attend) an Oscar Party. Have your guests get dressed up in their fanciest attire. Roll out a “red carpet”. Serve elegant appetizers and champagne (or Ginger Ale) in champagne flutes, decorate your home in movie decor and give each guest a mini-Oscar to take home. Perhaps you can give awards for the “Best Smile”, “Funniest Couple” and so forth. You can find a lot of Oscar Party supplies at most party stores, or get creative and make your own.
