Get ready for BBQ season with American Dad & Bob’s Burgers – Fun Giveaway too! (ends 5/1/12)

The moment that Spring arrives my husband starts dreaming about barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs. We used to have a barbecue but after careless residents of our condo complex burned down a building by extinguishing a cigarette in a dried out planter, the Fire Marshall declared that no one can have a barbecue on their balcony. Everyone had to get rid of their barbecues. We CAN have one but we have to put it 200′ from the building. Not easy to do when you are on the top floor and the front of your building is on a hill. Sigh…

Thankfully my father and step-mother have a barbecue so at least we can have barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs at least a couple of times a year. If we were fortunate enough to be able to afford a house a barbecue would be my husband’s first purchase.

The official start to summer is only weeks away. Father’s Day is not too far behind Memorial Day weekend either. Therefore it seems only fitting that Bob’s Burger (Season 1) and American Dad (Volume 7)  are both being released TODAY (April 17, 2012) on DVD.

Here is a little bit of information about both DVDs.

Bob’s Burgers Season 1

The Belcher family cooks up more chaos when the sizzling animated series comes to DVD April 17^th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The #1 animated premiere of the 2010-2011 season, “BOB’S BURGERS” is a flavor sensation filled with quirky characters and unforgettable antics! Information about the American Dad Volume 7 DVD comes from Klaus, the fish. I’m sure if you are a fan of the series you know exactly who Klaus is (here’s a hint – he’s a fish). The following letter comes from Klaus about the new DVD release.

Dear Television Critics,

Klaus here to remind you that I am still suffering the aftermath of an American inferiority complex that has left me perpetually entrapped in this hideous amphibious body with this absurd family… But that’s neither here nor there. I’m penning this letter to tell you about something, something important:

“American Dad” Volume 7 is coming to DVD April 17^th!

Although I may have my qualms with the alien, this collection of episodes is truly a pleasure. For starters you will get to admire my sharp wit and swoon over my sexy accent as often as you would like. But perhaps most importantly, “American Dad” Volume Seven brings the most beautiful woman of Langley Falls into your living room, Francine. Oh, Francine.

Anyways, you must take a look at the “American Dad” Volume Seven DVD, because like me, the best things lie under the surface. Of course Volume 7 includes fantastic episodes, loads of extra features and bonus content.
