Help Dunkin’ Donuts make “Wishes DelivereD” (DD Gift Card Givaway – 3 winners! Ends 4/26/12)

I have a confession to make. I’m ADDICTED to Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. In the colder months I always stop and get a hot coffee whenever possible. During the warmer months I get a iced coffee at least every day, sometimes twice in one day (today is one of two iced coffee days ). Some people say they like to have “pocket money” just in case they need it. The money I keep in my wallet is coffee money. Sometimes when I run out my hubby will give me a few dollars so I can get my “fix”. Ha Ha. I jokingly tell my husband I blog stictly for coffee money (I’m kidding of course).

I have been a long time fan of Dunkin’ Donuts. I’ve been in love with DD long before I’ve been in love with my husband. In all fairness I only met my husband 16 years ago. I’ve been enjoying DD long before then.

Dunkin’ Donuts has a very special campaign going on right now for a very worthy cause. The campaign is called Wishes DelivereD and it benefits the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

I personally know someone who had a wish granted by the organization. I am thrilled to promote them in anyway that I can.

Make-A-Wish was founded in 1980 and is one of the world’s leading children’s charities, granting the wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. To date, Make-A-Wish has granted the wishes of more than 213,000 children in the United States. In fiscal year 2011, 62 Make-A-Wish chapters across the United States granted a total of 13,804 wishes.

Dunkin’ Donuts special campaign, Wishes DelivereD, is going to help raise funds for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. There are multiple ways in which consumers can help.

-   Become a new Facebook fan of Dunkin’ Donuts and the brand will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (up to $10,000).

-   Become a new follower of Dunkin’ Donuts on Twitter (@DunkinMetroNY) and the brand will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (up to $5,000).

-   For every $25 custom “Wishes DelivereD” Dunkin’ Donuts Card purchased at www.DDWishesDelivereD.com, the brand will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (up to $2,500). In addition, while supplies last, consumers purchasing the $25 “Wishes DelivereD” Dunkin’ Donuts Card will receive an additional $5 which they can either add to their Card or donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (up to $12,500).

This campaign is aimed towards the Metro NY area (Metro New York, Hudson Valley, Long Island, Fairfield County, Connecticut and New Jersey) Make-a-Wish Foundation, however anyone, no matter where you live, can participate by “liking” the Facebook page, following on Twitter and purchasing the Wishes DelivereD gift cards.

This month long program ends on April 30, 2012.
