Are you familiar with Pandora Radio? It’s an online service that allows you to create customized “radio stations” that play your favorite songs from your favorite artists. There is also a Pandora Radio app that allows you to do the same thing from your smart phone. If you have a Roku or similar device you can also stream your Pandora Radio stations to your television too.
I listen to Pandora often, especially around the holidays. I always have holiday music playing in the background when I’m working. Somtimes I am feeling a bit nostalgic and I’ll play my Pandora Radio stations with 70′s or 80′s music.
Did you know that Pampers has it’s own station on Pandora? Actually they have two different stations – one geared towards babies and the other one is for toddlers.
Moms and Dads can choose which radio station is more appropriate for their little one. The Pampers Radio station for babies plays soothing songs and lullabies. These are not your typical lullabies, like Rock-a-Bye Baby. These are soothing songs sung by some of today’s artists. I listened to the station for a bit and all of the songs that the station played had words to them. Even adults can enjoy this station if you are looking for music to make you feel calm and relaxed. It’s a great station to “unwind” to.
The Toddler station features fun songs that your child (and perhaps even Mom and Dad) can sing a long to. One of the songs I heard on the station was Little Red Caboose sung by Lisa Loeb. I also heard “Where oh where did my little dog go” sung by Mickey Mouse and friends (it was a Clubhouse Disney song). I found it funny that I still remember the words and could sing along with the songs too. 
Listening to either of these stations will give you limited-time on-screen offers from Babies”R”Us and Toys”R”Us too.
Pandora is FREE. You can find Pandora Radio at www.Pandora.com. You can either use the search term “Pampers” to find the radio stations, or you can easily find both stations here, www.PampersRadio.com/Pandora.
Sadly, the radio stations are only going to be available until August 12, 2012. I hope that Pampers reconsiders and keeps the stations going year round because I think this is a valuable resource for parents. As a parent I wish I had radio stations like this when my children were younger.
