Milkshake COOKIES?

I am pretty sure the subject line got the attention of many people. Just the idea of combining the taste of milkshakes and cookies into one tasty treat is drool worthy. :-)

Did you know that June 20th was Vanilla Milkshake Day? I didn’t know that. I wish more people knew about that. I’m sure plenty of businesses would have offered free or discounted vanilla milkshakes. Mmm… yummy!

I was recently sent some cookies from the Sara Snacker Cookie Company in honor of Vanilla Milkshake Day. They sent me Vanilla Milkshake flavored cookies. How appropriate. LOL!

According to the company…

These creamy, dreamy cookies taste like real vanilla milkshakes. Sara Leand, CEO of Sara Snacker, created this mouth-watering cookie to taste like an old-school vanilla malt from the corner store.

Oh yeah! I just had to try these out.

I don’t know who was more anxious to try these – me, my kids or my husband. When the cookies arrived everyone tore into them.

The cookies a nice size (more than one bite). They are also very soft, as if they just came out of the oven.

We all tried them out. Sadly a vanilla milkshake was not what we thought of when we had these cookies. We all came to the agreement that they tasted like vanilla flavored sugar cookies. I think the sugar icing on top gives the cookies the sugar cookie flavoring.

The kids loved them. They couldn’t get enough of them. I hear they are great in milk (I can’t drink milk – it upsets my tummy). My husband found them enjoyable too.

I found the cookies to be delicious but just a wee bit too sweet for my taste. When I knocked off some of the icing and had only the cookie I enjoyed it a lot more.

Although they didn’t remind us of a vanilla milkshake, the Vanilla Milkshake Cookies from Sara Snacker were still very scrumdelicious.

I checked out the Sara Snacker website (www.SaraSnacker.com). They carry a lot of delicious looking cookies. I would love to try the Chipn’etzel cookies. They are made with potato chips & pretzel bits and topped with powdered sugar. They look SO GOOD! They even have ones that are topped with chocolate drizzle. They also have S’mores Cookies that look dreamy.

Sara Snacker cookies are available on their website. There are also many retail locations across the country that sell Sara Snacker cookies including all Fresh Market locations, Gourmet Garage and D’Agostino.

Check out Sara Snacker on Facebook and Twitter too!
