If you follow me on Facebook or read my blog regularly you might recall that my family and I are getting ready to put our condo up on the market. My home currently looks like an episode of Hoarders with all the boxes and stuff piled up all over the place. We’re giving stuff away, donating stuff and trying to find some place to store the rest. We are purging out home so that it looks more “roomy” so people might be interested in it.
I am curring packing away my wine and booze collection to bring up to my father’s house. It sounds like we drink a lot but we honestly don’t. Just once in a “blue moon”. I’m holding on to my “mocktails” and non-alcoholic beverages just in case. Non-alcohol drinks are great idea if you are trying to stop drinking alcohol or you have already quit. If you are still suffering from an alcohol addiction, you might want to read at sites like, AlcoholRehab-Florida.com, and then switch to delicious “mocktails” and non-alcoholic drinks.
I have one bottle of champagne that I am keeping here that I plan on opening up when our condo sells. That is fine for me and my husband (mostly me – hubby doesn’t drink champagne), but not for the kids. The kids need something special to celebrate too. I have a bottle of Apple flavor Kristian Regále put aside for them. It’s a sparkling fruit juice.
When I was a young girl I felt very grown up when my mom would pour me a glass of Ginger Ale in a champagne flute at weddings and celebrations.
It’s fun to celebrate life’s moments – big or small. You don’t need to spend a fortune on champagne to help you celebrate. You also don’t have to indulge in alcoholic beverages. Sparkling fruit juices are just as fun to drink. They are also non-alcoholic making them ideal for the whole family, young and old.
Kristian Regále sent me a bottle of each flavor that they offer. I was most excited to try the Black Currant flavor. I love black currant jam and black currant tea. It’s not a very common flavor.
I was very impressed with the black currant flavored Kristian Regále. The taste was true black currant. It wasn’t artificial. The beverage was also very flavorful. It’s not like a seltzer with a touch of flavor. This is true black currant taste with sparkling effervescent. I found the to be very unique because it’s mixed with a bit of apple juice too.
I would have to say that the black currant was certainly my favorite flavor.
The Pomegranate Apple sparkler has a refreshing pomegranate taste. At first it tasted a bit like grape but after a few more sips I could tell if was pomegrante.
I found that the Lingonberry-Apple to be another unique flavor. I have never tasted Lingonberry before. I wouldn’t even know what one looks like. The juice has a candy-like taste to it, which is probably why it was my kid’s favorite flavor. In a way it reminds me of a cherry lollipop, like the kind you get at the doctor’s office after you get a booster shot. I’m sure many people will know what I mean.
Lingonberry is a sweet juice that will appeal to younger children because of it’s candy-like flavor. Don’t get me wrong, just because it tastes like a candy doesn’t mean that I didn’t enjoy it (I did!).
I must say that I was impressed by the Peach and Pear flavors too. Both juice tasted exactly like the actual fruit. When I drank the Pear flavored sparking juice I felt like I was eating a juicy pear (only with bubbles). Even my kids commented on how much like the Pear and Peach flavors tasted like the reach fruit.
If you love juicy peaches then you’ll love the taste of Kristian Regále peach.
Some of the flavors reminded me of wine coolers (minus the alcohol). The Peach and Pear did not. They just tasted like fresh fruit juice with bubbles.
My family has not tried the Apple flavor yet. I’m saving that bottle for our celebration when we sell our home.
I’m a firm believer in celebrating life’s “everyday moments” too. Whether it’s a perfect grade on a test, a 5 pound weight loss, or the loss of a first tooth… life is meant to be celebrated. I’m not suggesting that you pop open a bottle of Kristian Regále sparkling juices every single time, but from time to time it’s certainly a fun thing to do. I know that my kids enjoy it.
