Mega charge your beauty products with Sea Buckthorn

I’m all for homeopathic, all-natural remedies and products. I try and steer clear of products that are born from a laboratory where some mad scientists put together his concoction and called it a “health product”. I realize that plants, fruits and vegetables are not a “cure all” for everything that ails you, but I do believe that there are plenty of things that can be helped with nature, not science.

I recently learned about an interesting plant called Sea Buckthorn. It’s a bush that produces fruit which people use for medicinal purposes as well as for it’s health benefits. Sea Buckhorn can be used in a variety of cosmetics too.

Sea Buckhorn is not very common in the US – yet. It’s widely popular in Europe and Asia.

A company named Seabuck Wonders has harnessed the power of Sea Buckthorn into a variety of products including Sea Buckthorn Oil Blend Omega-7 Complete, Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil (pills), Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil and Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil.

SeabuckWonders has 15 years of experience producing the highest quality Sea Buckthorn Oils known in the world. Since introducing their products to the United States back in 1994, the company, under the direction of Xingwu Liu, renowned Cultural Anthropology Professor, has maintained its excellence by using only pure Himalayan, wild-grown, handpicked Sea Buckthorn.

Let’s start of with the Sea Buckthorn Oil Blend Omega-7 Complete. This is packed with essential Omegas. Omegas as you know are important for your health. This complex can be beneficial to your skin, gastrointestinal health, heart and liver* (*This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any diseases).

The Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil (pills) also contain Omegas as well as Vitamins E, A, B and P (there is a P?). It also contains antioxidants. This variety is suppose to aid with immune support, skin, cardiovascular and liver health*.

I have tried both varieties. I was concerned about the taste but they really didn’t leave any taste in my mouth. That is one of my big issues when it come to supplements. Some just leave a bad taste in my mouth – literally. That was not the case with either of the Sea Buckthorn products.

I cannot tell you how they are helping me from a medical standpoint since I am not a doctor. I guess only time will tell. I’m way past due for a doctor’s visit (check-up/physical) so we’ll see.

SeaBuck Wonders also carries oils made out of Sea Buckthorn. The interesting thing about these oils is that you can add a few drops into your regular beauty products to give them a “boost of power”. Simply add a few drops to your favorite lotion, hair conditioner, shaving cream and other products.

My daughter tends to get red bumps on her skin after she shaves. We don’t know what causes it (Razor? Shaving Cream?). I’ve had her put shaving cream in her hand and add a drop or two of Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil on top before applying to her skin. She has been doing this for a few weeks now and the bumps rarely make an appearance, and if they do, they are only a few of them. My daughter swears that her legs never felt smoother after shaving. I have also tried using the oil when I shave. I don’t know about smoother but my skin feels moisturized and I don’t have any dry patches like I tend to get.

If your skin gets “razor burn”, or if you nick yourself when shaving, dab a little of the oil on your skin to help sooth it.

I have used a few drops directly in my hands and rubbed it in. It does take a while to absorb that way. I found that it absorbs a lot quicker if you mix it with your favorite hand cream or lotion. My hands tend to get dry A LOT. My hands are baby soft now. I don’t know if it’s due to the Sea Buckthorn oil or not but a large scar on the top of my left hand seems less noticeable. I don’t think this product helps with scars. Maybe it’s just because my hands are softer and healthier feeling?

You can add these oils to sunscreen. I haven’t tried that yet because I burn VERY easily. I just THINK about the sun and I get sunburn (LOL). I don’t want to fool around with something like that.

You can add a few drops of oil to your hair conditioner. JUST A FEW DROPS! My daughter added A LOT and it left her hair greasy. Just one or two drops is fine. I haven’t noticed much as far as my hair is concerned using it in the conditioner. I have taken a few drops in my hand, rubbed them together and gently rub the oil on to my ends. That seems to help. My ends are not that bad looking. My daughter only started to use it on her ends and it seems to be helping her too. She normally uses another product for her ends but the Sea Buckthorn seems to be having the same results.

I have also been dabbing a little bit on the deep wrinkles around my mouth. Hey you never know? Maybe it will help. :-)

SeabuckWonders’ Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil and Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil (loaded with Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9) are the perfect addition to the products you’re already using in your health and beauty routine. Just add a drop or two (yes, that’s all you need!) to increase the healing, moisturizing and restorative powers of your favorite lotions, creams, sunscreens and more.

Seabuck Wonders Sea Buchthorn berry and seed oils are mega-powered oils have one of the highest concentrations of Sea Buckthorn on the market. And, with the entire family of Omegas on board (3, 6, 7 and 9), it’s like a super spa treatment for your skin, hair, gums and nails. They are also USDA certified organic.

I cannot truthfully tell you how well the supplements work because I have no way of testing them out (medially speaking). I can tell you however that the oils are great. You can ingest the oils too for more benefits but I haven’t done that yet. I don’t like the idea of dropping oils into my mouth or things that go into my mouth. I rather use the oils on my skin and hair. As far as your “outer beauty” is concerned the oils are certainly an added bonus to your routine.
