Now that my family is preparing to sell our condo and move to a bigger place upstate, I find myself stressing over EVERYTHING. I toss and turn at night thinking about all the things we still need to do before officially placing our home on the market. I also stress about things like moving our furniture down six flights of steps (our coffee table is incredibly heavy), the cost to hire movers, closing, buying a new place, cleaning the new place, how well our kids and pets gets used to their new surroundings… it’s endless! My mind races non-stop from the moment I get up in the morning until I am finally able to fall asleep at night.
One source I know I’m going to take advantage of when the time comes to move is Cable Mover. Cable Mover helps people to set up their phone, Internet and cable services in their new home. This video does give me “food for thought”. Especially when it comes to thinking about where to put our furniture when we finally move into a new home. We have a small condo with very little furniture. We might need to buy more when we move.

My tip would be to arrange for a babysitter to watch the kids while you pack and unpack.
I will be moving at the end of the month. Honestly, everything stresses me! Scheduling moving trucks, deposits, rent or home payments, boxes, packing everything, time off from work….
Have a box labeled ‘open first’, which includes toiletries for the night, bedsheets, pillows, coffee and snacks. Opening just the essential box first will keep you from being overwhelmed at all the boxes that need to be unpacked.
My biggest moving concerns is when a mover shares a truck with another house move. Items tend to get lost!
My tip is start packing early to avoid last minute rush
My tip is to always mark your boxes so you can easily find stuff later on.
I hope to be moving soon – so hard to find the right place. I like to use color stickers – one color for each room – finding stuff is easy (I hope)
My biggest concern about moving is losing/breaking things

My biggest fear of moving is that I will forget something important.

My biggest fair with moving is that we’ll loose valuable items.
my concern is breaking stuff
I will be moving soon and my biogest issue is how to move my 7 kitties all at once to the new location a few hours away and of course how they will adjust to their new home.
Biggest concern is losing stuff or having things break

Map out new location with Letter/# codes, write codes on the outside of boxes (1K = first floor Kitchen)
It takes too long to pack and unpack everything.
My biggest concern is things getting broken or having to leave things behind when moving.
My biggest concern is making sure everything is packed well so nothing breaks
