I have an iPhone. For many years I had the most basic phone you could possibly have. Up until two years ago I couldn’t even text on my phone. My last phone, prior to my iPhone, I could only text and make phone calls. I couldn’t access the Internet, tweet or share a photo on Facebook.

My phone, as well as both of my kid’s phones, were eligible for an upgrade a few months ago. At the same time our service provider was offering iPhones 4 for $99.00. There was no way we were going to pass up on that great deal. Now me and both of my kids have iPhones. My husband wants one too but he’s not due for an upgrade until March 2013. He has to wait until then. I hope the iPhone is still offered at $99.00 when he’s able to get one.

If you have an iPhone you know how fragile they are. Unless they are fully protected they can break very easily. Aftere all, the front and back of the phone is made of glass.

When we first picked up our cell phones I made sure to get my kids the best cell phone cases we could find. I had a fear that they would drop it and break it within weeks of getting it. So far, so good. They have been careful with thier phones.

My kids hate their original iPhone cases. They are heavy duty and tough, but they are not “fashionable” enough for their tastes. These days people change their cell phone cases like they change their shoes. My daughter has a four different cases that she changes daily. My son has three cases. I have one which is the original one that I purchased the day I picked up my phone.
