Most people like to take a lot of photos over the summer. After all, who doesn’t want to remember their vacation of a lifetime, family reunions, splashing around the beach with your family or whatever fun and memorable thing you and your family has done this summer. I know my external hard drive is bursting with photos I’ve taken this summer, and the summer is not even officially over yet.

The one thing I dislike about digital cameras is that the photos usually end up on the computer and either lost on one of my many hard drives or CDS, or I just forget about them. I actually enjoy having printed photos that I can include in photo albums, give to family and friends or place in pictures frames that are displayed around my home.

Walmart and Coca-Cola would like to see your most memorable summer time photos with a special “Make it a Summer to Remember” Instagram giveaway. The winner will receive a $100.00 Walmart gift card.

If you are not familiar with Instagram it’s a hugely popular phone application that allows you to take photos, tweak them with one of the many editing tools, and then share them on Instagram with your followers. You can also share them on Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter too.

Here is how you enter this fun giveaway.

Take a photo with your phone on Instagram. It must be of one of the themes (below). Make sure to tag the photo with the hashtag #SummertoRemember. It’s important that you tag the photo with that hashtag. Then simply upload the photo and get the photos URL and copy/paste it into the comment section of this post. You can find the URL by tapping on the box in the lower right corner of the photo page. When you tap on those dots it will bring up a menu. One of the choices is ‘Copy Share URL”. Click on that option. It will save the URL on your phone. Then you can either paste it into an e-mail to yourself (then copy and paste that URL here in the comment sections) or paste is some where else on your phone as long as you can find it and you are able to submit that URL in the comment section of this post.
