Most families have their favorite meals that they tend to make week after week. Aside from pasta my family usually enjoys pork chops or port cutlets at least once a week. Everyone loves it but I have to admit that sometimes I get really bored eating the same things week after week. It’s not that I don’t enjoy the pork – I do! It’s just that I need to mix it up a bit and jazz up the flavor. One of the easiest ways to do that is with seasonings. But why stop there? Why not take it to a whole new level and use Kraft Fresh Take. Kraft Fresh Take can make an ordinary meal and amazing meal.
Normally when I make pork chops or pork cutlets I use regular (boring) Italian seasoned bread crumbs. I simply dip the meat into eggs, toss it in the bowl with some bread crumbs, then sautee it in a pan. It does get a bit messy with the oil splattering all over the stove. Not to mention it created a lot of extra dishes. And easier, and less messy way to prepare pork chops or pork cutlets is with Kraft Fresh Take.
Kraft Fresh Take is super easy to use. Simply remove the plastic bag from the packaging, tear it open, pull open the seam between the two bags, shake it up to mix them together, then toss in your meat one by one to coat. Once coated place the meat on a pan and pop it in the oven until throughly cooked. For a quicker and easier clean up be sure to coat the pan with a non-stick foil.
The photo above shows the pork before I sprinkled the remaining Fresh Take on top.
That’s it! That is all you need to do to take your meal from “ho-hum” to “WOW!”. Plus the clean up is a lot easier then the way I normally bread the meat.
The other night I made boneless pork chops using the South West Three Cheese blend. This spicy blend adds a robust flavor to the meat, as well as a bit of a “kick”.
Check out this video that uses the South West Three Cheese blend with chicken. You can use Fresh Take with chicken, pork or anything else you heart desires.
You can find Fresh Take in the dairy aisle of your local grocery store.
Try mixing it up a bit and use Fresh Take on the meats you prepare on your barbecue. We don’t have a barbecue or I would have tried that myself. We only have my father’s grill we can use and we haven’t been able to get up to visit him recently. I bet grilled chicken in one of the Fresh Take flavors like Rosemary & Roasted Garlic or Cheddar Jack & Bacon would take amazing on the grill. I’m drooling just thinking about it. LOL!
Have you tried Fresh Take yet? What are your thoughts about it? Doesn’t it make cooking and clean up so much easier? Once you’ve tried Kraft Fresh Take you’ll probably rarely use traditional breading again.
