Are you a fan of Nicholas Sparks? I almost had the opportunity to meet him in person and interview him but sadly I didn’t have the $$$ to get myself to the airport. I am still extremely disappointed in that. That was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I missed it.
.
In case you were not aware of it, Nicholas Sparks most recent movie, The Lucky One, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on August 28, 2012. I didn’t have a chance to see the movie in the theater. I’m looking forward to the movie’s release so I can see it.
We currently own every Nicholas Sparks made to date. The first movie I ever saw from him was A Walk to Remember. Even though I’ve seen the movie about a dozen times it STILL makes me ball my eyes out. The same applies to The Notebook. That is another super depressing movie.
I have also seen Dear John, The Last Song and Nights in Rodanthe. Aside from The Lucky One the only other Nicholas Sparks film I haven’t seen is Message in a Bottle.
The most current Nicholas Sparks book to be made into a film is Safe Haven. That is the movie set I was suppose to visit but couldn’t go.
Since I have all of his movies I am going to have my own personal Nicholas Sparks marathon leading up to the release of The Lucky One. I’m going to receive a review copy of that movie so I’ll be doing that review too.
I posed this question on the She Scribes’ Facebook page. I know not everyone is on Facebook so I thought I’d post this on my blog too.
If you have seen his movies please feel free to comment on the following questions (this is just for my own curiosity).
1. Which film is your favorite?
2. Which film was the saddest?
3. Which film is the most romantic?
4. For those of you who read his books, which book do you want to see made into a movie that is not already a movie?
5. Feel free to share your thoughts about any or all of these films.
I noticed something too when I took a picture of the movies. Many of the covers feature the same kind of “pose”. You have some that have hands holding a face and others with people holding each other. The only “odd ball” is A Walk to Remember. LOL!
LOL! Just a general observation. There is NOTHING wrong with the photos. In fact I think it makes them even more romantic looking. I just thought it was funny that they are similar in appearance.
I’m going to watch and review a movie every few days leading up the the August 28th release of the lastest film, The Lucky One. Consider it my own personal Nicholas Sparks movie marathon.

*All the films I either previously owned or were sent as free screeners in order to do the reviews. There was no compensation. Any and all opinions expressed are my own and are not influencd in any way.

My movies should be coming soon so I can have my own marathon! I can’t wait to watch them. With being pregnant I better go stock up on Kleenex cause I know I’m gonna need them! I have only seen The Notebook!
I LOVE Nicolas Sparks!! I have not seen The Lucky One, but I sure want too! My birthday is coming up, I may have to mention it to my hubby
I must be too old, I don’t know who Nicolas Sparks is and I have not seen any of those movies.
I can see my mother in law & I watching these together. It would be awesome to win!
Nicholas Sparks movies would be a first for me. Karen and I can start our own club…lol!
I don’t think I have seen any of these films, but after my moment with the Zach Effron cut out at Blogher I think I need to watch The Lucky One.
