Did you know that today, August 26, 2012, is National Dog Day? I didn’t know that until today. Don’t worry cat lovers, National Cat Day is October 29, 2012. 
My family owns a dog named Espn (pronounced Es-Pin). I’ll have to get him a special treat and/or a new toy to celebrate his special day.
On October 5, 2012 the newest film from Walt Disney Studios, Frankenweenie, will be in theaters. Frankenweenie is the story of a young boy and his beloved dog who passes away and is later brought to life, just like Frankenstein. The only problem is bringing him back to life totally turns the town upside down.
Check out the movie’s trailer. I LOVE how they made it like a movie trailer from the kitschy films of the 50′s. Frankenweenie is also done in black and white AND it’s 3D. That will be interesting.
