Can you believe that American Idol just wrapped up season 11 and are already making plans for season 12? Wow! Time flies. I still remember when Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Adam Lambert were trying to win the top spot at American Idol. Time truly flies.

Congratulations to the current American Idol winner Phillip Phillips.

Here is an interesting little tid bit, season 4 contestant, Constantine Maroulis, is the brother of the woman who was the principal of the elementary school my kids were attending at that time. Naturally the whole school voted for him and were very disappointed when he was booted off.

As you know, after each season the top American Idol contestants go on tour performing around the country. This year the top ten contestants are making thier way to 45 cities around the country, thanks to Chips Ahoy and Ritz.

AMERICAN IDOL Season 11 recently wrapped another exciting season, with congratulations going to winner Phillip Phillips!

The tour is the first chance for fans to see their favorite Idol finalists in concert.

My family loves Chips Ahoy cookies. My husband’s favorite is the Chips Ahoy Chunky Chocolate Chunk cookies (the ones in the brown package). Just today I received two new Chips Ahoy flavors to try out and review. One is Chewy Gooey Caramel and the other is Chew Reeces Peanut Buttercup (FYI…they are delish!).

Have you ever checked out the Chips Ahoy website for recipes? They have really yummy looking recipes on their site. My personal favorite is the Chips Ahoy Turtles. Mmmm!!!

Not to be outdone, Ritz has plenty of must-try recipes too. My kids love spreading Nutella on Ritz crackers. My favorite way to enjoy them is with a slice of chedder cheese and a slice of pepperoni. Yum!
