Wow doesn’t love JELL-O and JELL-O pudding? After all, there is always room for JELL-O. 
JELL-O has been a staple in my home since I was a kid. My mom used to make it all the the time. I loved being able to make the JELL-O with her. She would pour the hot water and I would mix in the JELL-O packet. I couldn’t wait for it to turn into “jelly” so we could eat it.
I loved making JELL-O pudding with my mom too, especially because you could enjoy it almost instantly.
Over the years JELL-O has expanded it’s product line to include not only new products, but also new flavors. My favorite is the Sugar Free Dulce De Leche pudding. Have you tried it yet? Oh my! It’s SO GOOD! Their Boston Cream Pie, Banana Cream and Butterscotch flavors are delightful too. Of course you can’t forget about JELL-O too. I love the Black Cherry and Grape flavors, although Grape is hard to find for some odd reason.
JELL-O has a new product line now called JELL-O Mix Ins. It’s the same great chocolate and vanilla puddings that you’ve come to enjoy, but with a special treat you can mix into the pudding.
The new JELL-O Mix Ins come in six mouth watering flavors – Oreo Dirt Cup, Banana Caramel Pie, German Chocolate Cake, Strawberry Shortcake, Birthday Cake and my personal favorite, Turtle Sundae. And yes, they taste just as good as they sound.
JELL-O Mix Ins are regular JELL-O puddings with ingredients you can mix in that are contained in the lid. Easy peasy!
My kids gobbled up the Birthday Cake and Oreo Dirt cups before I had a chance to try them. I can’t see how they wouldn’t have tasted good. They looked good. LOL!
I did get to try the other flavors.
Banana Caramel Pie tastes JUST like banana cream. You can also taste the caramel. Some of the crunchy bits you mix in look like brown sugar. I’m not sure what the other flavors are. This one mixes rather smoothly where as some of the other flavors give you some crunch.
German Chocolate Cake tastes like the real deal. It does have a great coconut taste to it so if you are not a fan of coconut you might not like this.
Strawberry Shortcake is SO GOOD! You mix in strawberries and crunch bits. It does taste like real Strawberry Shortcake – but with a crunch. It smells really good too!
The Turtle Sundae is my favorite. The mix ins include nuts and chocolate bits. The pudding includes both vanilla and caramel. It’s a combination of all the flavors I enjoy. Compared to the fat and calories associated with a real Turtle Sundae, this option is the better choice. You get all the flavor but with a fraction of the fat and calories, all in a neat, single serving container.
JELL-O Mix Ins take JELL-O puddings to a whole new level. They can be a snack or served as a dessert. I could see myself putting them in dessert dishes and serving them to guests after a meal.
These flavors are great for young and old alike. Adults might prefer the Banana Caramel Pie and German Chocolate Cake where as kids will certainly love the Birthday Cake and Oreo Dirt Cup varieties.
Me and my family are giving JELL-O Mix Ins two thumbs up each. They are a delicous any time snack that come in a fun variety of flavors.
