For a very long time I have been drooling over the images of chocolate covered strawberries that I found on Shari’s Berries. I have had chocolate covered strawberries before, but nothing like the ones you see on Shari’s Berries website. Their berries are not only dipped in milk, dark or white chocolate but they are also dipped in nuts, sprinkles and other goodies you wouldn’t think would go on a chocolate covered strawberry.
How can you not drool when you see things like this…
Needless to say when I was asked if I wanted to review Shari’s Berries I jumped at the opportunity.
I was sent the two dozen hand dipped berry medley collection. It consisted of…

- 4 Berries Dipped in Milk with Chopped Almonds
- 4 Berries Dipped in Dark with Chocolate Chips
- 4 Berries Dipped in White with Dark Swizzles
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and found two boxes. Each box was adorned with a pretty white ribbon. Inside contained 1 dozen large, fresh, plump strawberries dipped in chocolate (or yogurt) and topped with different coatings like swizzles, nuts or chips.

The berry pictured above is coated with milk chocolate and chopped almonds. It was my favorite! I couldn’t get enough of it. It was SO GOOD!
The berries are huge. They are like 3x’s as big as the ones I buy from the local farm. They take up a huge portion of the palm of my hand. In hindsight I should have taken a photo of a berry next to something like a coffee mug to give yo and idea of their size.
The berries are so rich and satisfying that just one berry is enough. Although I did have two at one time. It was actually goodness “overkill”. It was too much. One was more than enough.
One of Shari’s Berries could be used as a desserts. It’s part chocolate candy and part sweet, juicy strawberry.
With the holiday season coming up I think Shari’s Berries would make a great gift. I also think these would be ideal for a holiday get together. They do offer seasonal and holiday treats. They currently have several Halloween themed treats.
Shari’s Berries offers more than just covered strawberries. They also have chocolate dipped cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, cake pops (like the ones pictured above), cakes, fruit baskets and even sugar free treats.
You can find gifts for just about any occasion on the website including Anniversary, Wedding, New Baby and Birthday. They even offer every day treats.
Shopping on the Shari’s Berries website is an enjoyable experience. The only “problem” is trying to pick out a yummy treat. There are too many delicious looking ones to choose from.
