I used to follow Weight Watchers a few years ago. I’ve been meaning to get back into the program. I just haven’t had the time. Most likely I’ll wait until the start of the new year, which is when most people join (New Year’s resolution time).
I like Weight Watchers. It’s a great “healthy living” plan. I don’t like to use the term “diet”. I don’t see it as a diet. You CAN eat a chocolate bar or a box of cookies on Weight Watchers, you just have to make sure you are honest with yourself and count all the points. If you are allotted 30 points a day and you want to waste 25 of them on a box of cookies that is your prerogative. Just know that you only have 5 points left to get you through the day.
When I was on Weight Watchers I make sure to have plenty of low point snacks available to me, especially sweet snacks. I’m not big into candy, but I do like cookies and cakes. As long as I have something sweet I am less likely to fall off the diet plan. There is nothing worst than trying to deprive yourself. That is why Weight Watchers is so good, because you can eat just about anything you want in moderation.
The only thing I didn’t like is trying to figure out the point value of certain things. It wasn’t so bad but it was a lot easier to have the point values already figured out for me. I appreciate it a lot when packaging contains the point value per serving.
Yoplait, the only yogurt that is endorsed by Weight Watchers has plenty of delicious flavors that are only 2 points each. Between Yoplai Light and Yoplait Greek there are over 20+ delicious flavors available for just 2 little point on the Weigh Watchers program. What’s not “2” love about that. :-)!
I am loving the Yoplait Greek yogurt. It’s so rich, creamy and flavorful. I can’t even keep it in my fridge because my kids will eat it all up. Thankfully they enjoy the flavors available in the Yoplait Light so I can buy them for the kids and hit the Greek yogurt for myself.
Yogurt is a “better for you” snack option. It’ made with healthy bacteria that your body needs as well as calcium. It’s a sweet, low calorie treat you can feel good about enjoying. You can also enjoy yogurt as a fruit dip (I love dipping fruits in yogurt!).
