Epiphany Chocolates Review & CHOCOLATE Giveaway! (ends 11/20/12)

I love chocolate. Really… I LOVE chocolate! I’m one of those people who crave chocolate. Not every day (thankfully) but every now and then I crave a rich, creamy, oh-so-sinful piece of chocolate. I try and keep small chocolates on hand for when those cravings strike me. I prefer small pieces because it helps me to control my portions, otherwise I’d eat it all.

I have never, ever, turned down the opportunity to review chocolates. :-) Not only because I love chocolate but also because it’s fun to try the different chocolates available. It’s interesting how different chocolate can taste. No two companies make chocolate taste the same exact way.

It’s also great to know what companies I can go to when I need a gift idea.

I received a box of chocolates from Epiphany Chocolates, specifically their Love Pie? Eat Chocolate collection. These chocolates are actually fudge, not chocolate in the traditional sense.

My box of Love Pie? Eat Chocolate came with four flavors; Sweet Pie of Mine (Maple Pecan Sweet Potato Pie Fudge), Slice of Heaven (Apple Cinnamon Pie), Falling for You (Pumpkin Pie Fudge) and Grande Diva (Dark Chocolate Fudge).

Just let those flavors sink in for a moment…

Have you ever thought about a fudge that is flavored like a sweet potato pie with maple and pecans? I certainly never thought of something as elaborate as that. For me, fudge basically comes in one flavor – chocolate. LOL!

These flavors are inspired by pied that are typically enjoyed in the Fall season.

I sweet potatoes. I maple syrup. I pecans. Needless to say I LOVE the Sweet Pie of Mine fudge from Epiphany Chocolates. You have no idea! I wish I had a better way to describe it. Heavenly comes to mine. :-) I could eat an entire box of just this flavor. Words cannot describe how delicious this fudge is.

My next favorite is the Grande Diva (Dark Chocolate fudge). I prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate. The Grande Diva flavor is very flavorful. It’s sure to satisfy any chocolate craving you might have.

Slice of Heaven does have an enjoyable apple flavor. You can also note a touch of cinnamon. Think of this flavor as chocolate covered apple pie, but not as ooey gooey as a traditional apple pie.

I love pumpkin flavored things. The Falling for You fudge (pumpkin pie) was delicious, but it didn’t “scream” pumpkin flavor. I was hoping for something a bit more spicy and pumpkin flavored. Don’t get me wrong, it was very yummy. It just didn’t taste a lot like pumpkin.

Fudge is normally very rich and flavorful. One piece should be more than enough. These Epiphany Chocolate fudge flavors are oh-so-yummy. It’s hard to have just one (especially the Sweet Pie of Mine!).

I would consider these a dessert fudge, or something you would enjoy when you want to indulge in something sinful. Kids would enjoy the flavors but I see these as a bit more fancy then what young children would normally enjoy.

Epiphany Chocolates are also available in dreamy flavors such as Mocha Fudge, Mixed Berry Fudge, Cake Batter fudge, Vanilla Toffee Caramel fudge, Butter Pecan fudge, Key Lime fudge and Peanut Butter fudge, to name a few.

The fudges come in a variety of boxed sets that range from 10 pieces to 36 pieces.

Epiphany Chocolates would make a great gift this holiday season. It would also make a fabulous hostess gift. If you are hosting a holiday dinner party you might want to consider picking up a box to serve your guests.

Currently you can save 25% off your order at Epiphany Chocolates using the discount code FALL25 during check out. This is a great time to order the chocolates/fudge for holiday gifts and/or for holiday dinner parties. It would be silly not to take advantage of this huge discount.
