Mass mailings are now easier with White Pages & Giveaway (ends 1/5/13)

Some people are super organized, like my husband. He keeps everything he needs in nice little files and folders, both on the computer and in a filing box under my desk. As for me, I consider my kind of organization as “organized chaos”. :-)

I have an address book that is far from updated. In fact I’ve had it years before I even met my husband (and we’ve been married 16+ years!). Over the years people have come and gone from my life while others have moved and have new addresses. Instead of crossing out old entries and writing in new ones I usually just rip off a return address label from any correspondence they send me and tuck it in the pages of the address book. Sadly none of them are organized. Whenever I touch the book dozens of little pieces of paper and labels fall out.

Surely there has to be a better way?

Actually there is. It’s from WhitePages. I have used WhitePages in the past and I never knew it could help you to create master address lists. It can even contact your Facebook friends for you directly and get their updated address for you, saving you time, especially if you have hundreds of Facebook friends. It’s called the WhitePages Mailer.

Your “master list” can be important and printed out on your home printer – even directly on address labels! For someone like me who suffers from Carpal Tunnel and has a hard time handwriting things, having the ability to import my address list and print directly onto labels is FANTASTIC!

I bet many readers wish they knew about this before the holiday season. I’m sure it would have saved a lot of time and effort getting the holiday cards done and mailed out. I used to mail out about 50 or so cards every year. I know others who mail out over 100+. Imagine how much easier sending out holiday cards would be having a master address list from the WhitePages.

I know a lot of people get engaged over the holidays. In fact we saw a proposal on Christmas Eve when we were out at a restaurant having a holiday meal. Sadly that engagement was a great big fail (I felt sorry for the guy!). I know others were not. In fact my husband’s cousin received a promise ring this Christmas so we know a wedding is not too far off in the future.

June is a popular month to get married in. Brides need all the help they can get with not only invitations but also thank you cards for bridal shower gifts and wedding gifts. Using the WhitePages Mailer can help make things a lot easier for them. When you think the WhitePages Mailer would be ideal for sending out birthday invitations, “Save the Date” cards and even family newsletters (I’ve always wanted to do that).

We’re in the midst of the holiday card rush, and helps busy people create a master address list for holiday cards (or New Year’s cards for any procrastinators!), birthday invites, thank you notes, “Save the Date” cards and more by linking your contacts or Facebook friends to their mailing addresses.

Here is a brief video that explains the WhitePages Mailer a little further and shows you just how easy it is to use.

I would like to be more organized in the New Year. I am going to take advantage of the WhitePages Mailer and have all my family and friend’s addresses complied into one neat, organized spreadsheet. I think it’s time to ditch my outdated and messy address book.

Another thing I like about the WhitePages Mailer is that you can also organize people into groups. You can divide the groups into any way that makes sense to you such as family, friends, co-workers, sport team members… however you see fit.

WhitePages also offers other services such as Reverse Phone Lookup, look up addresses, find zip codes and area codes and more. In fact I recently used them to find out what number keeps calling my cellphone. I keep getting a voicemail message that says (in Spanish) that I should press “2″, but it never says anything more. I used the Reverse Phone Lookup on the WhitePages and found out it was CVS Pharmacy. They are probably calling to let me know that a prescription needs to be refilled.
