Whenever there is a holiday approaching, such as Valentine’s Day, I love to pay a visit the the Celebrate with Hershey’s website. They always have yummy recipes and fun holiday crafts available on their site. With the changing of the seasons and holiday the website is constantly being updated with new recipes and crafts and old favorites. My favorite time of year to visit the site is around Christmas and Halloween, but I also enjoy the Valentine’s Day recipes and crafts as well as other holidays too.
To give you an idea of the delicious recipes you can find – all of which feature Hershey’s products to some degree – check out a few of the goodies I found. One of them, the Sweetheart Layer Bars, is pictured above.
Other recipes I found include these amazing Kisses Chocolate Chip Cookies that I MUST try, Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cheesecake and Chocolate Cherry Upside Down Cake. The beauty of these recipes is that you can make and enjoy them year round, not just for Valentine’s Day.
If you are looking for fun Valentine’s Day crafts to do with your children, grandchildren or perhaps your child’s classroom, make Celebrate With Hershey’s your first stop. They always have adorable and easy crafts on their site. One of my all time favorites is the roses made out of Hershey’s Kisses. I tried to make these one time. They didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped (my little stubby fingers are not as nimble as I’d like them to be). The “Love Bugs” are another favorite of mine.
In addition to recipes that make you drool, and sweet crafts, there are other fun things to discover on the Celebrate with Hershey’s website including holiday e-cards, Valentine’s Day History and Fun Facts. There are even a few videos on the site that show you have to create some great recipes too. I love the one for Love Bug Cupcakes. I’ve included the video below for your convenience. If you are reading this via e-mail you can find the video on the Celebrate with Hershey’s website under the “Video” section.
This is such a cute idea and would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day party. It’s so easy to make too!

Valentine’s Day would not be the same without candy – especially heart shaped boxes of chocolates. This year Hershey’s has partnered up with students from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco to design new packaging for their popular Hershey’s Pot of Gold Premium Chocolate collection as well as Hershey’s Pot of Gold Truffles Collection Milk and Dark Chocolate Heart Box. The students came up with some beautiful contemporary designs to give a fresh look to a these wonderful ready-to-gift Valentine’s Day boxes.
The Hershey Company also donated $20,000 to the University for the Creation of the Hershey Design Excellence Award to acknowledge students who excel in design.
I have one of the boxes and I must say it’s really pretty. I love the design.
Other boxes of Hershey’s candies are also available for gift giving including a keepsake tin of Hershey’s Kisses and a box of York Peppermint Patties.
In addition to the newly designed Pot of Gold Valentine’s Day boxes, Hershey’s also has available this holiday season other popular candies all dressed up for the holiday including Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts, Dark Chocolate Covered Heart Shaped York Peppermint Patties (also available in a Valentine’s Day gift box!), Valentine’s Day Hershey Miniatures and Valentine’s Day Hershey’s Kisses.
I love the Raspberry Hershey’s Kisses! I have never had them before. They are REALLY good. If you love Raspberries, you’ll love these kisses. I’m not normally a fan of white chocolate, but in this case it goes perfectly with the Raspberry. I find these rather addicting. I’ve already had to hide the bag or else I’ll eat them all up.
The Twizzlers Nibs heart shaped candies are new this year.
Other classic Hershey’s Valentine’s Day candies are also available this year including Hershey’s Golden Apples, Twizzlers Strawberry Pencil can, Jolly Rancher Heart Shaped Lollipops and giant Hershey’s Kisses. I love the Valentine’s Day Giant Kiss with the Valentine’s Day message. Not only is it great for gift giving, it’s also a HUGE piece of chocolate for your sweetheart to enjoy (and share).
Mmmm… all this talk about chocolates is making my mouth water! Perhaps I can skip dinner and just dine on a bowl full of Hershey’s Kisses and York Peppermint Patties instead.
Look for these and other Hershey’s products at a store near you.
I have a wonderful assortment of Hershey’s Valentine’s Day candies to give to a lucky reader. (The assortment will be similar to that shown above, but the products might vary).Thank you Hershey’s!
