“Necessary Night-In” Giveaway (ends 2/9/13)

Necessary Roughness

Do you watch the television series Necessary Roughness? It airs on USA at 10:00 PM EST (9 PM Central).

In case you are not familiar with the show, Necessary Roughness is a series about a tough divorcee and single mother, Dr. Dani, who gets a job as a therapist for a professional football team. Soon people start to take notice of her methods and suddenly it’s not only the athletes but also musicians, celebrities and politicians who seek her out for her tough love therapy.

I think many women can relate to the character. Sometimes you have to play “hard-ball” with the people in your life to get things done. As women we also have that soft, gentle loving side too.

Necessary Roughness is one of those few shows that both women and men can enjoy together. Women love the strong, yet loving, character of Dr. Dani Santino (the cute football players is a bonus :-)). Men enjoy all the sports talk, football games and practices.

Watching Necessary Roughness with your spouse, or even your best girlfriends, is a great way to have a “Necessary Night-In”. Especially on a cold Winter night like it is here in NY. The idea of putting the kids to bed early, popping some popcorn and snuggling up with my hubby on the couch and watching a good show sounds great. It’s a nice way to end “hump day” (the middle of the week). Since it’s a Wednesday going out is not much of an option. Not when my hubby has work tomorrow and the kids have school. That is why it’s nicer to stay home and enjoy ourselves.
