Win a $500 Gift Certificate to Kranich’s Jewelers (giveaway ends 3/2/13)

Kranish's Jewelers engagement ring

Mother’s Day is not too far away. This year I am hoping for a new Mother’s Day ring. I had one but one of the stones fell out. It was not a quality ring (more like $50) so it wasn’t worth the time, effort and expense to find a stone that would fit and have it fixed. It would have been cheaper to buy a new one.

For a few years now I have been leaving not-so-subtle hints for my husband about what special gift I want for Mother’s Day. I even have a few designs picked out that I really like. I found them on the website for Kranich’s Jewelers. The cool thing about Kranich’s Jewelers website is that you can design your Mother’s Ring right on the site, including adding the stones you want and their position. You can customize your ring the way you want. There are even different stone options you can choose from to help you stay within your budget too. Some stones are free (with the price of the setting), and other stones (the high quality ones) are extra, on top of the cost of the setting.

You can also choose how many stones you want. I like to have 3 stones because I want to include my husband too because I love him as much as I do my children. I guess in a way it can also be like a family ring too.

I opted for the free stones with all these rings (above) and they each came to around $200 – $250. That is not a bad price for such lovely rings.

I’m pretty sure I won’t be getting a Mother’s Ring (or family ring) for Mother’s Day this year, only because we are trying to save every penny we can to buy a house. Some day I hope to get one (a house is a wee bit more important right now).

Another jewelry gift I hope to get some day is an Anniversary ring. I have wanted one of those since my 10th wedding anniversary (we’ll be married 17 years this October).

I found a few that I like.

I even found a diamond ring that I LOVE! I mean really, really, really love. It’s an engagement ring, but if I received it as a gift I would certainly wear it. :-)

Kranich’sJewelers carries a variety of jewelry including pendants, rings, necklaces and bracelets.

I really love things that sparkle and shine. I have a hard time walking past a jewelry store without becoming hypnotized by all the sparkling jewelry. I don’t even need it to cost a small fortune.

The more I look at the above ring the more I love it!

If you would like to check out Kranich’s Jewelers yourself and find these and other lovely rings visit their website at Kranichs.com. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.
