Coming to theaters on March 22, 2013 is the new DreamWorks Animation film, The Croods. I’m sure you have seen trailers for it on television. My husband is looking forward to seeing. He says it looks really funny, but I have a feeling Emma Stone has something to do with it. LOL!
In addition to Emma Stone The Croods also features the voice talents of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke and Cloris Leachman.
The Croods is a 3D comedy adventure that follows the world’s first modern family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always been their home is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods are rocked by generational clashes and seismic shifts as they discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures — and their outlook is changed forever.
Here is the film’s trailer. You can also find the trailer here, http://youtu.be/4fVCKy69zUY.
Lowe’s has a special Build & Grow clinic that will be featuring some fun The Croods projects.
Lowe’s Build & Grow clinics are conducted on select Saturdays and Sundays at all Lowe’s stores nationwide – FREE OF CHARGE!
On Saturday, March 23 and Saturday, April 13, Lowe’s will be hosting special clinics featuring The Croods. Children learn basic home improvement skills and build confidence while creating a free, wooden project they can take home. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles and a certification of merit upon completion of their project. Recommended for ages 2-5.
The Build and Grow kid’s clinic spaces often fill quickly, so be sure to register early by visiting www.Lowes.com/BuildandGrow. You can also find the clinic calendar at that link.
What a fun idea! Not only can children learn some basic skills but they can also make a fun The Croods project. I think a lot of children will appreciate the movie tie-in. I love that Lowe’s offers the clinics FREE. It’s so hard to find fun things to do with children these days that don’t cost a lot of money. It’s nice of Lowe’s to offer these programs for the community.
