Lincoln Blu-ray/DVD combo pack giveaway! Two Winners (ends 4/22/13)

Lincoln Blu-ray/DVD combo pack

Last week I had posted my review of the incredible film, Lincoln, which is now available on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Download and other formats. In the event you would like to read my review you can find it here – Lincoln Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack Review.

If you have not seen the movie yet I would high recommend it. You do not need to be into history to appreciate this film. Trust me, history is NOT my “thing”. I think I slept most of the time I was in my history class. However this movie will make you take interest in President Lincoln and all he did for our country. It will also make you appreciate Lincoln the man and the loving father he was towards his children.

Here are a few clips from the film for your viewing pleasure.

Thaddeus Speaks To The House

Mary Todd Lincoln and Thaddeus Stevens At The Ball

Lincoln On Euclid

The above clip (Lincoln on Euclid) was one of my favorite parts in the film. There is much more to the clip, but you have to see the film to see the entire scene. I like when he asks the question “Do you think we choose the times into which we are born? Or do we fit the times we are born into?”

There are a lot of wonderful bonus clips that come with the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack too. Here are a few snippets from the bonus features that I thought readers might enjoy. The actual bonus features are longer.

End of an Era – How Daniel Day-Lewis helped Steven Spielberg to say good-bye to Lincoln.

Mary Todd’s Look – Here is a sneak peak into what it took to recreate the fashions worn by Mrs. Lincoln.

Choosing the Focus – Steven Spielberg discusses what the focus of the film was.

This is truly an inspiring and amazing film. Daniel Day-Lewis WAS Lincoln. He truly made you feel as if they went back in time and grabbed Lincoln and brought him back to star in this film. 🙂

Look for Lincoln where ever movies are sold.

You can follow the movie on it’s official website, www.TheLincolnMovie.com.   You can also “like” the film on Facebook (www.Facebook.com/LincolnMovie)   and on Twitter (@LincolnMovie). You can also follow the conversation on  Twitter with the hastag #LincolnMovie.

Here is the movie’s original trailer for your convenience. You can also see  the trailer here, http://bit.ly/R1d4NV.
