Prizes. Who doesn’t love to win fabulous prizes? I know I sure do! I used to love to enter every giveaway I could find. I’ve won some amazing prizes too. Sadly I don’t have as much time to enter sweeps and giveaways like I used to, but I will make time for sweeps and giveaways with awesome prizes. Such is the case with the Senokot® and Senokot-S® Tablets Overnight Relief Sweepstakes.

The Senokot® and Senokot-S® Tablets Overnight Relief Sweepstakes is a national sweepstakes promotion open to those age 18 and older. The sweepstakes is giving away over $50,000 worth of prizes! Some of the prizes you can win include a Phillips 22″ Flat Screen TV, Hyatt Hotel Gift Cards, iPod Nanos and Kindle Touches. I think they should have a prize that includes some Senokot products, because sometimes you need help with occasional constipation.

Constipation is not something that most people like to talk about, but it does happen to many people on occasion. Some more than others. Constipation can be associated with your changes in your diet and your lifestyle. Did you know that even traveling and certain medications can cause constipation too? My son’s doctor also told us that not drinking enough water can cause problems too.

No one likes to discuss being constipated with their doctor or pharmacist. It can be embarrassing, however it’s just a part of life and it happens to many people. I’m sure even your doctor and pharmacist have had to deal with constipation too. 🙂

According to a recent survey conducted by Russell Research for Purdue Products L.P. in November 2012, of 1,023 women ages 18 and older, 53% of those polled agree that occasional constipation is an embarrassing topic to talk about with friends and family, while almost half also find the topic embarrassing to discuss with physicians and other health care professionals.

The survey revealed many misconceptions about occasional constipation.  Forty-one percent of women polled think that occasional constipation is not a condition they need to worry about at their age. Although older adults are more likely to report problems with constipation than younger adults, poor diet, lack of physical activity, certain medications and dehydration can be the cause of the condition at any age.1  In addition, only one in three women knew it could be the result of surgery.2

I have the same Kindle Touch Paperwhite 3G that I am giving away and I LOVE IT! It’s exactly like reading a book made out of paper.

The Kindle Touch Paperwhite 3G is smaller than other Kindle devices. I love the compact size because that means it can easily slip into my purse and I can take it with me where ever I go. Because it has built in WIFI and 3G I can access new books from Amazon.com anytime, anywhere.

I also love how the screen is lit. Instead of light being shined outwards, the light on the Paperwhite shines inward, making it less of a strain on your eyes, especially at night.

    My daughter suffers from great constipation, myself not so much. So we still try to add fiber foods in our diets (lots of greens, beans and sometimes supplements) along with plenty of water with some supplement of miralax with it. I dont know if I will enter it or not. need to check it out.
