Imagine if YOU had 533 biological children… #DeliveryManMovie

DeliverMan_thumb

How is that for a subject line? LOL!

Seriously… what if one day you found out that you were the biological parent to 533 children? That is simply not possible for women, but for men it IS possible, although highly unlikely.

Coming to theaters on November 22, 2013 is a new comedy from DreamWorks  called Delivery Man. Delivery Man stars Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders and Chris Pratt.

Vince Vaughn plays David Wozniak, an affable underachiever who is not sure what is true purpose in life is. His rather mundane life gets turned upside down when he finds out that he is the biological father of 533 children through an error at a sperm bank that happened 20 years earlier. Of those 533 children, 142 of them are suing to learn the true identity of their biological father (Wozniak).

This couldn’t happen at a worse time in David’s life. As he struggles to decided whether or not to reveal his true identity to his children, he embarks on a journey – a journey that leads him to meet some of his children as well as to learn more about his true self.

Check out the film’s trailer.

Be forewarned. The theme song is catchy and you might find it playing over and over again in your head. :-)

Here are a few scenes from the film.

DELIVERY MAN

I am super excited to see this movie. At first I thought it was just going to be a silly movie about a man whose sperm donation resulted in the birth of 533 children. Something silly along the lines of Dodgeball or Wedding Crashers (two popular Vince Vaughn films). This movie, although a comedy, does look like it has a lot of heart in it too.

If you would like to keep up to date on the film you can follow it on the various social network sites.

Did you check out the trailer? What do you think of the film? Do you think it’s something you are going to see when it comes out in theaters? What would YOU do if you found out you had 533 biological children?

  1. I would love to see the Delivery Man staring Vince Vaughn, he is so funny and a very good actor. thank you for the posting. I can’t wait to see it!

  2. Vince Vaughn seems like a likeable guy, but many of his movies are downright silly, based on completely unrealistic premises. I’m afraid this one might fall into that category, too. I doubt I’ll plunk down the cash to see it in a theater, but if it’s available on Netflix later, I’ll likely catch it that way. Thanks for the review and the clips!

  3. Sarah L says:

I’ve not seen any of his previous movies since I don’t like silly movies. Since I’m a woman I can’t even contemplate 533 kids.

  4. Robin Wilson says:

Thanks for another great trailer! I love Vince Vaugh, and I cannot remember the girl’s name that plays Robin in How I Met Your Mother, but I like her too. I like to get lost in these kind of movies that I can enjoy and not have to think or get utterly emotional. Thanks for saying that about the theme song ~ but I not a bad one to get stuck in my head. Actually I should sing that to myself every day…maybe it would help!
