Do you want to hear something funny? I was asked if I wanted to review some Lindt chocolates. As if I would say “no” to that! LOL! :-)!
I’ve been a fan of Lindt chocolate for many years now. I especially love their truffles and gourmet chocolate bars.
Lindt has a new chocolate that they just launched called Lindt Excellence Chocolate Diamonds. No, they are not sparkly or come covered in “bling”. The diamond part comes from their shape and the fact that they are decedent and luxurious like diamonds.
Lindt sent me two bag of the Lindt Excellence Chocolate Diamonds to try out – 70% Cocoa and an assortment of Dark Chocolate flavors (Chili, Sea Salt, Orange and 70% Cocoa).
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the 70% Cocoa diamonds. I am a big fan of dark chocolate. The higher the percentage of cocoa the more I like it. I like my chocolate to have a strong taste more so then a creamy/sweet taste.
The Chili diamond is spicy and hot. Not too bad. But keep in mind it does have a “kick” to it.
The Sea Salt flavor does not have specs of salt on it like I would expect. It’s blended up well into the chocolate. It have a subtle salty taste to it.
My favorite by far is the Intense Orange flavor is out of this world! The idea of chocolate on oranges sounds kind of gross, but trust me, there is NOTHING gross about this chocolate! In fact I gobbled up all of the individually wrapped Intense Orange piece that came in the bag in a matter of two days. I loved it so much that I am going to buy an entire bag of them if/when the opportunity presents it’s self. We don’t have a Lindt store at our mall anymore, and I haven’t seen them in our local grocery store yet. I will keep an eye out for them.
Aside from the remarkably delicious taste, I love how each one is individually packaged. They are great for taking on the go with you (drop one into your purse for our your special someone’s lunch for a sweet treat anytime). Being individually wrapped also helps me to control my eating. I could easily eat several of these at one time. To avoid that I simply take out one indivudally wrapped chocolate, close the bag and put it away. 🙂
Look for Lindt Excellence Chocolate Diamonds where ever Lindt products are sold.

These all look delicious. I am a fellow chocoholic as well so this would surely fix my cravings. Who knew chocolate could have a kick to it and spicy, but it’s worth a try! Thanks!

My husband is the chocolate fan (though I can’t resist Lindt white chocolate truffles 🙂 ), so I will have to find out if he’s tried these. If he hasn’t, his birthday is coming soon!
