Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted in theaters March 2014

Disney's Muppets Most Wanted Movie Poster

Have you heard the news? The Muppets have a new film that is coming to theaters on March 21, 2014. That might seem like it’s far away, but really, it’s not. Time flies TOO quickly in my opinion.

If you read my blog regularly you’ll know that I am a fan of the Muppets. If you look at the top right of this page (and any page on my site) you’ll see me with two of my friends – Kermit and Miss Piggy. I actually met them twice prior to the last Muppet movie. :-)

Check out the trailer for the new film, Muppets Most Wanted.

It looks like a lot of fun. I’m glad to see Walter is back. I like Walter. I even have a plush Walter doll.

Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.

Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted is directed by James Bobin and produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Bobin co-wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller, who is also executive producer with John G. Scotti. Featuring music from Academy Award®-winning songwriter Bret McKenzie, “Muppets Most Wanted” hits the big screen March 21, 2014.

The film also has a few celebrity cameos. Did you spot them? I saw Salma Hayek, Celine Dion, Zach Galifianakis, P. Diddy (or whatever his name is these days) and who I believe to be Ray Liotta, to name a few.

If you would like to stay connected with the film you can check out the various social media sites.

  1. This looks so good. It has a great cast. I used to love watching the Muppets on TV when I was a kid. My kids love the movies. It’s true about everything coming back into style again.

  2. Tina Fey is going to take this over the top! Great addition.

  3. There’s no better movie than Muppet movies! Never too old for them!
