It’s the holiday season! That means a lot of wonderful holiday family programming is going to be available on TV for both young and old to enjoy. On November 27, 2013 PBS Kids is going to repeat the blockbuster hit The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas. Watch Cat, Nick and Sally as they journey around the world to help a lost reindeer find his way home. Here is a sneak peek.

Looks cute! I am going to check our local TV guide listing to see what channel it will air on (we have more than one PBS station) and at one time. In addition to this holiday special, PBS Kids will air a week of winter-themed programming from favorite series December 9th through the 13th. This special “Holiday Week” includes encore presentations of other holiday favorites, including Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas, Arthur’s Perfect Christmas and holiday-themed episodes from your favorite PBS Kids series, such as Super Why, Thomas & Friends, Wild Kratts and more. For more information about PBS Kids programs visit www.PBSKids.org. Please check your local TV guide for channel and air times. For more about holiday programming, both for PBS Kids and PBS (adult/family programming) check out this web page – http://www.pbs.org/about/news/archive/2013/holiday-programming-2013. 2. Glad I saw this now since the Christmas Cat in the Hat show is on tomorrow. I’m still in Thanksgiving mode and not thinking Christmas shows yet. I do watch a lot of PBS since I don’t have cable, satellite or any pay TV. Always plenty of PBS shows and the Curious George Very Monkey Christmas show is another must see. Thanks for the programming links.
