Back in September I announced that a new animated series was premiering on Nick Jr. called Julius Jr. Have you had the opportunity to watch it yet? Do you have a little one in your family that is a big fan of the show? If so I thought you might like to know that there will be NEW episodes of Julius Jr. every Sunday on Nick Jr. If you missed any of the episodes you can also watch the on the Nick Jr. website, www.NickJr.com.
Julius Jr. is one of the many wonderful brands that Saban represents. As a Saban Brand Ambassador I am fortunate to receive some fun goodies from the many hit TV shows Saban represents.
This month I received some fun goodies based on the Julius Jr. show. I received several aprons, fabric markers, a cute puzzle that you color yourself (with crayons), tattoos, stickers, a magnetic picture frame and more.
Sadly my kids are a bit too old for these goodies, and we haven’t had the opportunity to hang out with our younger nieces and nephews due to the holiday season and the horrible weather we’ve been having.
I have always loved to do crafts so I took I upon myself to color in an apron and the puzzle. I’m going to hold on to the others for when we finally get to hang out with our younger family members. It will give the something fun to do.
I love the idea of having kids color their own apron.
When people think of an apron most people probably think of something you use to protect your clothes when cooking. While that is the #1 use for aprons they can also be used in other ways such as to protect your child’s clothing from crafting (such as paints and glue) as well as messy play. Letting a child and decorate their own is a fun rainy day (or sub zero temperature day) activity.
Another fun thing Saban sent me was a color your own puzzle type thing featuring Julius Jr. and friends. It came with crayon but I found markers to be easier to work with. There are any little nooks and crannies that a crayon can’t fit into that a marker can.
I wish I could find more of these color your own puzzle type things. They are cute.
I also received a Julius Jr. rubber stamp and ink. It says it’s fabric ink but I wasn’t sure about using it on the apron. This would be fun for kids to use to decorate notebooks and make their own cards.
My apologies for the image. I don’t have a camera (mine broke) so I have to rely on the camera on my cellphone.
In addition to the crafts I also received a magnetic Julius Jr. photo frame, adorable stickers and every kid’s favorite – temporary tattoos. My daughter as happy to use one of the tattoos.
I also received some yummy recipes I thought readers might be interested in trying out for themselves.
The Banana Sammies sound yummy and very easy to make. Even little ones could help you made this recipe. This would make a great snack.
The aprons would be great to use to make these recipes too.
Don’t forget to check out Julius Jr. on Nick Jr. Sundays at 11:00 AM (ET).
