Lands’ End recently launched their own body care collection called Coastal Living.
Coastal Living Body Care products are made with a fresh lavender and honey blossom scent. Initially I thought that was an odd pairing, but once I had the chance to smell the scent for myself I changed my mind. Lavender and honey blossom actually work well together. I’m also a huge fan of anything scented lavender. I find it very relaxing.
The new body care collection currently consists of scented body lotion, hand cream and body wash.
The Fresh Lavender and Honey Blossom Nourishing Body Lotion is a naturally nourishing blend of lavender and honey. Specially formulated to smooth and nourish without leaving the skin feeling oily or greasy, the hydrating shea butter extracts moisturize and condition the skin while vitamin E helps protect skin from daily damage. The Coastal Living Body Lotion is available in an 8 oz. bottle for $16.50.
Designed to soften, smooth and replenish dry skin, the Fresh Lavender and Honey Blossom Soothing Hand Cream features naturally occurring oils and emollients that absorb instantly to hydrate and strengthen skin – creating a healthy skin tone and texture. It pairs aloe with vitamins A and E to help protect skin from daily damage and is most effective when reapplied throughout the day. The 2 oz. bottle of Coastal Living Hand Cream ($8.50) is perfect for purses, desk drawers and gym bags alike.
Cleanse, renew and reveal all-day skin radiance with the Fresh Lavender and Honey Blossom Refreshing Body Wash. The non-irritating formula gently cleanses without stripping, drying or damaging the skin’s natural moisture barrier, leaving skin feeling soft and smooth. A 6.7 oz. bottle of Coastal Living Body Wash is available for $14.50.
I’ve had the opportunity to try out all three products. My favorite so far is the hand lotion. I keep it on my desk and use it daily. I love how smooth and soft it makes my skin even with just one use. It provides me with instant relief from dry, itchy, tight feeling skin.
The tube is a nice size to pop into your purse or backpack too.
The body lotion is equally as wonderful. I have even used it on my hands too.
I wish the hand lotion was available in a pump like the body lotion. It would make application easier when you are at home. I would leave it on my desk or on the bathroom sink.
The body wash works very well. It washes great and rinses off completely without leaving behind any kind of residue. The scent also fills the air in the shower which is a very enjoyable experience.
“The launch of this exciting new collection comes on the heels of months of research and development,” said Michele Donnan-Martin, chief merchandising and design officer, Lands’ End. “We set out to create a skin care collection that refreshes, soothes and nourishes from head to toe. One that embodies a fragrance that transports the wearer to a lighthouse by the sea, capturing the essence of our nautical brand heritage. I think the delicate balance of lavender and nourishing honey blossom does just that.”
I am not sure what the connection is between the lavender and honey blossom scent and the “coast” but the scent does remind me of warm, sunny days which has been nice during this dark, gloomy and dreary winter. Even time I take a whiff of the lavender and honey blossom scent I instantly think of blue skies, fluffy white clouds and lush green grass.
The Coastal Living beauty scent is available individual or as a gift scent featuring full size bottles for $34.50. Other gift options are also available.
Have you had the opportunity to try out the Coastal Living collection yet? If so, what did you think about it?
