Earth to Echo – In Theaters July 2, 2014 (giveaway ends 7/12/14)

Echo-Final1sht

Landing in theaters on July 2, 2014 is the fun, family summer film Earth to Echo. Earth to Echo is about an adorable little alien and best friends who are trying to save their community. The film reminds me of a combination between The Goonies, E.T. and The Sandlot.

Tuck, Munch and Alex are a closely bonded trio of inseparable friends, but their time together is coming to an end. Their neighborhood is being destroyed by a highway construction project that is forcing their families to move away. But just two days before they must part ways, the boys find a cryptic signal has infected their phones. Convinced something bigger is going on and looking for one final adventure together, they set off to trace the messages to their source and discover something beyond their wildest imaginations: hiding in the darkness is a mysterious being, stranded on Earth, and wanted by the government. This launches the boys on an epic journey full of danger and wonder, one that will test the limits of their friendship and change all of their lives forever.

The film is rated PG and stars Teo Halm, Brian “Astro” Bradley, Reese Hartwig and Ella Linnea Wahlested. The young cast might not be well known yet, but I have a feeling once this film is released they will quickly become Hollywood’s new “it” actors.

Check out the film’s trailer.

I think this is going to be a great film to bring the whole family to see this summer. I think young and old alike will enjoy it.

I hope they come up with an Echo toy. He looks adorable. I’m sure many kids (eve us “big kids”) would have fun with their very own Echo.

I know a lot of people are really into Mindcraft. I’m not really sure what that is. I think you need to be a “gamer” to appreciate it. None the less, check out this cool Mindcraft animation based on the film.
