Our dog Espn

If you are a parent I am sure there have been times where you wished that your child came with an “owner’s manual”. :-) There are times when you are totally confused and don’t know how to deal with certain situations. It’s OK. It happens to all parents. Thankfully we have friends, family members, pediatricians and specialists to help us out. They are great resources to have.

Have you ever felt that way about your dog? Has your dog ever done anything that left you scratching your head wondering why? Or does your dog exhibit bad behaviors that you are having a hard time correcting? Don’t you wish you had people you could turn to for help? You can always reach out to your vet but often vets want you to bring your pet in for a “consultation” and that can end up costing you a lot of money. Not only that, not all vets are readily available to speak with you on the phone.

The American Kennel Club understands that dog owners sometimes have questions or concerns about their dogs and need to speak with a professional for advice and suggestions. That is why they came up with the AKC Good Dog!SM Helpline.

The AKC GoodDog! Helpline is a live telephone support service from a team of knowledgeable dog trainers who can help provide answers to anything from training a new puppy to improving your adult dog’s manners.

Check out this brief video that explains a little more about the service.

It sounds like a great service. You can speak with experts via the telephone or an online chat.

You can take advantage of this service for a one time only payment of $79.99. You can call as often as you want. There are no limits for the amount of calls  you make to the service.

Even the most knowledgeable pet parent has questions or concerns at times. Why take your dog into the vet and pay an office fee to get your questions answered when all you need to do is pick up the phone and dial the hotline number?

AKC GoodDog! Helpline is a handy resource to have whether you have one dog or five, puppies or an elderly four legged friend.

In addition to the AKC GoodDog! Helpline, AKC also offers consumers a specialty box of quality toys and treats called the BFF Box (I love the name). The goodies you find inside are meant to be fun and strengthen the bond between and your “BFF” – your dog!

BFF Box 3

This personalized blanket is so nice!

I received to review a BFF Box for our dog Espn (pronounced Es-Pin). Our box contained treats that our dog LOVES, a fun rubber toy (I have no clue where it is! It’s somewhere in our home), a plush toy (he really likes this toy) and unique bubbles made especially for dogs (and cats) that don’t pop for a long time. They are really interesting. Espn and our cats love to chase them around – especially when the fan blows them all over the place. They’ve provided a lot of fun exercise for both our dog and cats.

The box also included a soft, plush, beautiful blanket with Espn’s name embellished on it. We put it on the ottoman where Espn loves to sleep. It’s so lush that my son made the comment about how he wished they made it bigger because he wants to sleep with it. LOL! It’s VERY nice. Even the cats love it too.

The BFF box has a retail value of $60 but sells for $40. The blanket alone is well worth the money.

For a limited time only, get $5 OFF your BFF Box! Promo runs August 4th through 9th, 2014. Use the code BFF5OFF at the checkout to take advantage of this PAWsome deal! To learn more visit http://shop.woofipedia.com/collections/all-products/products/bffbox.
