Follow up to my Fiber Choice 30-Day “Get Picky” Challenge

Fiber-Choice

If you read my blog on a regular basis you might recall that I’ve been participating in the Fiber Choice “Get Picky” Challenge.

You can read my original post here – I’m Taking the 30-Day “Get Picky” Challenge.

Things have been really crazy this month. Between trying to squeeze in some last minute family fun and back to school shopping, there are days where things seem like a blur. I’ll be happy when the kids go back to school next week and we can get back on a regular schedule.

I have to admit that there are days that I neglect to take my vitamins and daily prescription medications. I need to have a reminder in the morning because many mornings I feel like my head is in a cloud. Thankfully my husband usually reminds me to take them. I also keep them near the coffee maker so that I am reminded to take them.

I actually remember to take the Fiber Choice gummies. I may forget to take them in the morning but there is a point in my day where I think about them. I really enjoy the fact that they are gummies. It makes them more enjoyable to take, unlike a pill you need to swallow or something gross you need to chew on.

I’m a big kid at heart and the sweet gummy Fiber Choice fiber chews are tasty and fun to eat. They come in different flavors too.

Fiber Choice is available in several enjoyable varieties – Fiber Choice® chewable tablets, Fiber Choice® Fruity Bites (the ones I have been taking), Fiber Choice® Weight Management, Fiber Choice® Plus Calcium and Fiber Choice® Plus Antioxidants.

I have found that Fiber Choice is much more pleasant to consume then big chalky pills or grainy stuff you need to mix in with water. Fiber Choice does have chewable “pills” but they are not chalky and gross like other chewable fiber pills.

I know that I don’t get enough fiber in my diet. Most people don’t. That is why I jumped on the opportunity to participate in this challenge.

Fiber Choice

Fiber Choice contains inulin which is a soluble fiber naturally found in fruits and vegetables. I like knowing that it’s a natural fiber and not something that is “man made”.

I have been taking Fiber Choice Fruity Bites gummies for a month. I feel great because I know I am doing something good for my body. The Fiber Choice Fruity Bites gummies are also making me feel better. I haven’t experienced any digestive issues like I occasionally do.

I’m not much of a breakfast person. I do eat breakfast but I find that by the time 10 o’clock swings around I’m looking to snack on something at work. Since taking the Fiber Choice gummies I find that if I take them in the morning I tend to not feel as hungry around 10 o’clock. I can make it until I get home to eat lunch without needing to snack mid-morning. Those few times I have felt the urge to snack some baby carrots or a granola bar are enough to hold me over until lunch time.

I like that they are great for any time of the day. Those times where I have forgotten to take them I was able to take them when I got home from work or after dinner. They can be enjoyed any time.

I didn’t find that the product upset my stomach in any way. Some products, especially fiber ones, can upset my stomach or cause discomfort until my body gets used to it. I won’t name the brand but one brand of fiber product I tried a few years ago left me with horrible cramps when I took it for the few several times. I did not have that issue with the Fiber Choice gummies.

Oh no! My bottle is almost empty. Time to pick up some more.

I had my son and daughter try the gummies too. They do not get enough fiber in their diets either and my son tends to be irregular so I figured I would pick up another bottle for them if the liked it. They do. They both enjoy the flavors.

Each serving (2 gummies) contains 3 grams of fiber.

I work with children at my job. That means I see a lot of children with runny noses and who sneeze an cough without covering their mouths. I am worried about getting sick and/or bringing home and illness to my family. Therefore it’s super important for me to maintain a health immune system. I have read that having ample amount of fiber in your diet also helps maintain a healthy immune system. I am hoping with the Fiber Choice gummies and a multi-vitamin I can help fight off most of the colds I’ll be facing every day I go to work.

So far I am very pleased with my experience and I plan on purchasing more Fiber Choice products once my current bottle is empty.  You can find Fiber Choice products at mass merchandisers, drug store and grocery stores across the country.

I wasn’t aware that Fiber Choice had a Weight Management gummy–I’ll keep that in mind if I ever need to lose weight. Thank you for sharing!
