It seems like everyone has a cellphone these days. Many families, such as my own, have even opted to do away with a home phone and simply use our cellphones. We thought it was silly to pay $50+ a month for a home phone that we never used.
I work in a childcare situation and I can’t tell you how many times I have seen very young children walk into our room with cellphones, and not just their parent’s cellphone. Many times the cellphones belong to the child. I’m talking about children as young as 5 or 6 years old.
Back in the day when my kids were younger they had “no frills” flip phones. These days kids are coming in with iPhone 5’s and Galaxy Notes.
When we first picked up phones for our children it was out of necessity. We had an incident at summer camp that warranted us to get our kids phones. They were more so for emergency purposes only, or to let us know if they needed to be picked up from a friend’s house.
At that time my husband and I had a cellphone plan but we weren’t ready to put our kids on our plan. Instead we used a pay-as-you-go plan which worked out very well for us. These days our kids are on the same cellphone plan we’re on.
The reason why we didn’t want to put our kids on our plan initially was because we wanted to see how things worked out with their phones. We didn’t want to put them on our plan then have to pay a huge penalty fee for discontinuing their portion of the contract.
If you’ve ever tried to cancel a cellphone contract I’m sure you know how much of a headache that is. Not only that most carriers charge you a hefty fee for early cancellation.
I guess I can understand why companies don’t want you to end their contract but at the same time I dislike contracts because it makes me feel like I’m “trapped”. Essentially you are when you think about it.
Net10 Wireless offers consumers something that most carriers won’t – no cellphone contract. The means you are free to cancel at any time – no questions asked.
Net10 Wireless not only offers you no contract service but they also offer a variety of airtime choices so you can customize your service to the way you like it.
Starting at only $40/month, consumers can experience unlimited talk, text and data. Knowing how much we are playing for unlimited talk, text and data Net10 Wireless is a bargain at only $40 a month.
The plans vary so you are able to pick the one that is right for you. There are even talk only plans that would be ideal for children who don’t need the text and data option. Those plans start as low as $20 for 200 minutes of talk time (no international calls and no auto-refill).
I find it interesting that Net10 Wireless also has contract free family plans for 2-4 people. These plans include talk, text and data. Data includes things like checking email and surfing the internet.
Another think I like about Net10 Wireless is that allow you to use your own device rather than buy a phone from them. That means you can keep the phone you love while enjoying the service from Net10 Wireless. That also saves a lot of money because you are not obligated to purchase a new phone through them. Net10 Wireless works with any cellphone from any network.
Of course if you are looking to get a new phone, Net10 Wireless carries many popular cellphones including iPhones, LG and Samsung.
Net10 Wireless offers consumers the nation’s best 4G LTE networks at about half the cost.
Net10 Wireless sent me a phone and some pre-paid airtime cards to test out their service for myself. I was very impressed. I had no issues whatsoever with the service. No matter where I brought the phone I picked up service just fine. I was worried that their service might be limited but that was not the case at all. It didn’t matter if I was at home, work, at the mall, or visiting family upstate, the service was available where ever I went.
Set up was super easy, even for someone like me who tends to be “technologically challenged”. I was able to set things up quickly and easily and start using the phone right away. I enjoyed the phone too. I have an iPhone and I was sent a Galaxy which is an Android phone so it was fun to explore the different things you can do with an Android.
Using Net10 Wireless I was able to do everything I would normally do on my phone including read and reply to email, update my Facebook status, share photos on Instagram and surf the internet. I was able to text with no issues either.
I only used the phone a few times to talk a few times but each time the connection was crystal clear and I wasn’t disconnected or experience any static.
In other words, I had the same exact quality service using Net10 Wireless as I do with my current cellphone service provider. The only difference is I pay a small fortune for service and if I cancel our contact earlier I’ll have to pay a hefty penalty fee.
When it comes time to renew our contract my husband is going to look into Net10 Wireless, especially when it comes to our kid’s phones. Our son doesn’t use his as much and our daughter will be paying for her own phone service once she gets a job. We’re just “stuck” for now because we can’t get out of the contract. With Net10 Wireless this would not be an issue.
If you are interested in learning more about Net10 Wireless, their plans and the phones they offer (or how you can use your own phone) visit www.Net10Wireless.com. You can also look for a Net10 Wireless dealer near you on their site.
Don’t forget to check out the brand on social media too – Facebook and Twitter (@Net10_Wireless).
What do you think about Net10 Wireless? Does it sound like a better option than your current cellphone plan?
Do you have any contract cancellation “horror stories” you’d like to share?

I have some friends that use net10 and they love it. They hate the contracts of other vendors

Thanks for the review and the heads up. I have bookmarked them until December when I can finally get out of my Verizon contract! I cannot believe what I am now paying for our 3 phones…only 1 of which is a smartphone. This would be perfect for my husband and I. I just hope it’s not too good to be true…but anything would be better than the contract I have now.
